  1. Someone by me has an electric Fiat 500 (abarth version) and it’s got external speakers so it still sounds like a proper petrol version 😂
  2. I’ve got the white one, apparently it’s to show they’ve done a pre delivery inspection I’m too lazy to take mine off but you can if you want
  3. Probably removed it and changed the exhaust in general to be quieter. At the end of the date it’s still only a 4cyl, add more cylinders for better sound 😁
  4. That’s how it should work, valves closed (well almost) then you turn it to sport and it fully opens I believe older cars which had them adjusted via the throttle position so when you were giving it the beans it fully opens
  5. As yours doesn’t have the butterfly valves and you want them, you want to make the car quieter correct? An aftermarket system might make it louder if anything, so keep that in mind
  6. If anyone knows for sure what you need it’ll be @ApertureS
  7. Do you use VCDS to prime it? Or just take out old and put in new? Not sure if it’s advisable to empty in completely in case of debris, put new filter in then refill with new diesel?
  8. This should help, slightly different model but should be under that foam
  9. That sounds sensor related then to me. Open the bonnet and look around the coolant reservoir, someone had it on here where it crystallised on a pipe due to a leak
  10. 100% get it scanned then write down all codes if it doesn’t have a timestamp (does if it’s vcds at least others should be the same), clear codes, continue driving until it happens again then rescan. To me sounds spark or fuelling issue but only a wild guess
  11. Does your car have Adblu? If it does then wipe your finger inside the exhaust tip, there should hardly be anything on your finger If your finger is black as hell then you’ve got black smoke coming out which could be a number of things but should set you on the right path, you may not even notice it whilst driving which is why the finger test is good If you’ve not got adblu then that procedure might not work
  12. Did you try the ignition only on for 1 minute then start car?
  13. How much did you put in? You can overfill these i believe One of the driver menus (right cog on steering wheel) will show you how much is in there Also turn your ignition on and don’t start the car for 1minute (manual says this)
  14. Yep it’s the battery level of your phone
  15. The worst thing about coasting is the cars coasting and still catching up with slow buggers on a flat road 😂
  16. I don’t like the sound of not having the clip, there for a reason
  17. If you want very informative https://youtu.be/NqbLIJHh28Y?feature=shared Yes it’s an A6 but isn’t going to be massively different Note: a lot of pads these days are directional with arrows or crescent moons, so make sure you get them the correct way and piston side if there only one directional pointer
  18. If you’ve got OE discs then expect it, I replaced mine with brembo coated discs and OE pads but wish I went with ATE ceramics as that’s what I’ll be going with for the fronts Had my rears replaced years ago and been fine, I hardly drive my car but rear discs still look good
  19. Sadly that’s standard for OE rear discs
  20. Shouldn’t be any need to remove bumper, watch these Then this at 14:45 ish
  21. Fairly certain that’s a non genuine part, you should see the Skoda logo stamp if it’s genuine
  22. I don’t have heated windscreen but my insurance uses Autoglass and I insisted on genuine screen First two times they rocked up it was non genuine so I refused and third time it was genuine. Was great because all it cost me was £10, as it had a chip which they fixed but then I noticed it had little cracks again a few weeks later, so they replaced the whole screen I don’t have cameras either but I just said “people had issues with non genuine” as some folk on here had it replaced but glare and distortion was all wrong
  23. I wonder why the mileage is “unavailable” If I were you, I’d go back and ask for an hour or two test drive on your own and say if there’s any reason you’re not happy you’ll repay fuel back £20 or so Then if all good buy it then get a DSG oil & filter change at a Skoda dealership then live happy Btw VAG changed timing belt interval to not be based on mileage and time instead which is 10 years, so it’s due one and about £1k from a Skoda dealership (obviously cheaper elsewhere) but for your bargaining power that should knock £1k off the asking price immediately So if it’s £12500, and you like it get it for £11k, dsg oil and filter is £300 ish and timing belt another £1k
  24. What are Propus alloys? Google says Volvo so I’m confused
  25. Almost correct You need to unzip the map update zip, you’ll then see the 2 folders and one file, copy the 2 folders and one file directly onto sd card
