  1. Thank you for the recommendation on the bushes. I'd have done them myself but my driveway doesn't allow this due to the stone chips. I've got an independent who'll do the job coming up to MOT time.
  2. Replace your air filter annually or correct to a high annual mileage etc. I left mine (as it was alright when changed the oil and oil filter) and got to the end of summer and the car was running like it was in limp mode because of how bad the filter had gotten. Swapped the air filter for a brand new panel one and the power increase was staggering because of how bad the old one was.
  3. Ordered the bushes people. Thank you all. I'll report back with my findings and results in due time.
  4. Man after my own heart. I don't think my Creative Labs Audigy 2ZS will fare too well however as I had enough problems getting it running under W10. Had it in every daily since my first PC experience. Don't quite want to stop using it.
  5. Hi and welcome to Briskoda, and the world of all things Skoda.
  6. Which ones, sorry? I'm in a bit over my head here...
  7. Thanks to you both! I'll be getting my local independent to fit them regardless as I don't have the space to complete the work myself, or I'd have done so. I'll get those sent away for ASAP, cheers. Noted, they'll probably outlive the car haha!
  8. Aye, correct me if I'm wrong, but it should be dead easy to open a claim since you've clearly not got what you wanted.
  9. As long as it has been serviced well and doesn't look like a complete shed then you should be all good.
  10. I thought about those but I don't know how long it'll be before this one is relegated to second car duties for whenever I buy my second car, definitely another Mk1 Fabia but an estate hopefully.
  11. I considered doing the rears on mine ever so slightly, but the insurance would bankrupt me...
  12. Do I see a cats tail in that photo, top right?
  13. There's nothing worse than not having your car. As a side note, is this an excuse to replace the other windows for the same green tints???
  14. @mikefelicia here's another Flamenco Red one, an Ambiente (post-FL Comfort) so it has some nice gizmos, such as; heated mirrors (brilliant when it's cold), electric windows, front foglights, CD player (good ICE system for an OEM configuration in my opinion), better interior light, and probably some things I've missed. It's much like mine except it has no alloy wheels, but mine didn't start on alloys either. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202111039195471
  15. Just a wee shot of some of the stickers. Placed tastefully on the car, of course.
  16. Be sure to let us know how you get on!
  17. Evening all. I'm putting down the annoying creaking that has been present since purchasing the car in March as the wishbone/console bushes on the front. I like to think I've done well putting up with it for this long to be honest but enough is enough. I'd like to replace them with the Cupra ones if possible. I'm not quite sure of the ones I'm meant to purchase from t'internet so if someone could advise then I'd be eternally grateful. Many thanks in advance, Ryan B
  18. I quite like Ultrabeat (obviously that's Scooter in the picture though lol), but my Mum ruined 'Pretty Green Eyes' for me... Original: "never have to be alone", Misheard: "never have to pee alone". I never hear the song without laughing, and you'll be the same now, John.
  19. The original 'Clubland Classix: The Album of Your Life' from 2008. I'm on my third copy since '08 I think. A 3CD set, makes me think it's time to buy a CD changer because I hate having to try and swap CDs or bring passengers because they don't shut up... https://www.discogs.com/release/1728848-Various-Clubland-Classix-The-Album-Of-Your-Life If you're a man with Spotify like myself then this is most of the tracks but on a playlist. Oh! They're Ikea scissors btw.
  20. I've got the one car, and even then, I don't use those things anymore because I cannot be bothered putting the effort required in. A quick hand wash first and then I do the interior and some of the finer exterior stuff with some stuff in spray bottles from Arnold Clark. I'll keep in mind the Mr Muscle stuff. Cheers!
  21. My thoughts too, it's not as if Vicar Lane is going to end up in Inverness suddenly...
