Citigo added to the family garage.
How sore is the VED on the old wallet? If you don't mind me asking.

Don't start in the morning, just pushing
Every 4 years doesn't quite sit right with me, even for a newer car. I do mine annually as I left one for 18 months (or less, was serviced in October 2020ish by previous owner) on my Mk1 and it was choked to hell doing ~180 miles a week since my purchase in March of this year. Changed the filter and the sharp throttle response was an immense feeling, nearly launched it straight out of the driveway and into the house across the road.

Flobac's 2006 Fabia 1.2 HTP
Solid choice with a BME engine IMO, at least for a first car. It's a good looking car in that 'slate' colour I reckon it wouldn't be too difficult to wire in some fog-lights depending on how you did it. I don't know about the electric mirrors (probably need VAG-COM/VCDS) along with an upgraded convenience module. I wish you all the best with your car and I cannot wait to see what you do next!

Retrofitting FL steering wheel on pre FL
You may need to change components for the airbag but I'm not 100% sure.

How much time do you warm-up your Felicia?
AnnoyingPentium replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanIf not older, actually, since it's an old design engine revised for when the Felicia came out (was it around 1994, no?).

CLUTCH JUDDER ON FABIA II 1.9TDI
Ours does it. I don't drive it as it's my Grandfathers and I'm not insured for it. It's not consistent when it does it but it's an absolute pain. Ours is a 2014 Ambiance (also known as the one up from the base spec IIRC) but has only done 32k.

It isn't a 0.9 TCe is it? Ours is doing the same.

Hello and welcome to Briskoda.

Don't start in the morning, just pushing
It was the same for my Fabia. When it ran, it messed up with the power-assisted steering and all the other electronic witchcraft I don't completely understand.
- Projector Halogen H7 Headlight Bulb Replacement - don't do it!

CHANGE OF TIRES 215/45 R16 TO 215/55 R16
I can't offer the same, unless you're asking about Mk1 Fabia interiors...

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
My old English Teacher once hit a reindeer in his morning commute and the police woman who came to attend to it told him "Well that'll be christmas cancelled then. Your students won't be able to look you in the eye."

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
At least he wouldn't need a sleigh this time around...

Sinus/Ear Problems
Thanks @Gerrycan, I do find that the saline spray does help, I use it when I wake up and before going to bed typically as that's when I feel the worst. I'll give them a ring on Monday to see what they can do. Last time I was sent to the ENT Clinic at Ayr Hospital and they done a hearing test and told me I was fine... I had my tonsils out in 2015 as I was missing a lot of school due to taking tonsillitis almost monthly. Both that and the adenoids definitely made it much better. That seems likely. I'll need to give that a shot. Cheers Mac!

Looking at a Mk2 Fabia Auto - 10 plate - 110k miles
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202110088255307 Automatic with the same 1.6 16v engine, 62,000 miles on the clock, £2995. It's from 2008 and it's a "3" spec so it's your top of the line one of the time.

Reversing & Rear Fog Lights
The village I live in had 2,320 residents (according to the 2001 census), it's possibly slightly less now. Out of those people now, I could probably name maybe four or five who own a car from before 1998. Certainly not a representative example of the UK but still an indicator nevertheless. Some of said cars will probably have high-level brake lights at the rear as they're close to that period, such as a delightful 1997 Peugeot 406 I see when I go for my newspaper. Even still, those cars are getting thin on the ground too. As an additional note, my Granda had a 1997 Fiat Punto that he'd press the rear fog-light button on to mess with tailgaters as it sat very close to the brake lights on the rear of the car.
