  1. Exactly what i did on mine. Hes talking above about leaning on the electric tailgate open button - the amount of times i used to press it then the car would be sitting out on the street for hours with a wide open boot! No software method to disable it sadly. And 1 of my 3 fobs being butchered isnt the end of the world anyway
  2. Have you tried moving the lumbar to all its extreme positions and then pressing the button again once at its end stop. Try this first, if not i can run you through the procedure to reset the calibration. Is the seat standard and unmodified or have you messed with anything?
  3. Change it to not activated will only disable virtual cockpit customising menu, it won’t affect anything else
  4. Possibly the wrong gateway module then if you arent getting the menu for display config.
  5. Correct it is a complete door handle. *if* that is the problem. if it’s the osf kessy handle that is faulty then I do have a spare one for sale if you’re interested.
  6. 0x45 display config is for the virtual cockpit. do you have one fitted?
  7. You have said that the drivers door will unlock but not lock? (Are you just touching the outside dimple of the handle, not grabbing the inside of the handle too) and you state that the passenger door also unlocks the car but you haven’t stated if it locks the car? first I would be checking fault codes and live data. if you find it is faulty then you can’t replace the sensor and instead it’s all built into the complete handle.

  9. Back on the subject of the damned LED fault with the boot lights. Has anyone got a superskoda one that they are willing to take the back off and take some detailed photos for me so i can look at reverse engineering them at a cheaper price for everyone?
  10. Managed to finally get some canton grills - shame they are the wrong colour. a bit of gentle spray painting to get them to the black plastic look. why you may ask? I’m not paying £1000 for 2 front sportline door cards with canton grills!
  11. People keep saying this, but ive never seen proof of it. Nothing in the part system about a sportline having short springs at all?
  12. I mean, that doesnt sound like its running great... and just because you cant feel a harsh misfire doesnt mean it isnt, minor misfires over a long period of time can cause problems - thats why the knock sensors are constantly monitoring tiny vibrations and bringing a flashing light on
  13. There is only 2 parts listed for the wheel arch liner and that is Left 3V0821105 Right 3V0821106 There is also noise insulation listed as 3v0805696 and 3v0805696a but it covers a huge amount of PR codes and to be fair, looks like it comes on all models. Im unsure what this noise insulation is though.
  14. You’ll need to tell us the full fault code and description. also if you’re using a cheap scanner you run the risk of it either not telling you the correct code or instead giving you a generic code and not a detailed vehicle specific code. flashing glow plug light is very similar to an engine management light and if it’s misfiring like it sounds like it may be, then get it looked at asap - misfires if left can cause a lot of damage to an engine
  15. That is not controlled by any of the leuchte channels. it is done using canbus at the module. The only way this can be done is something called Scandinavia mode and it turns all interior lights on when the headlights are in any position but 0. it also turns your taillights on with drl if they aren’t already.
  16. The wheels on the superb are about an inch deep in the wheel arch compared to many other manufacturers. That could also be the reason you can’t see the wheel?
  17. Your best bet is going through them as they differ per certain cars and years. If you look under Lichtfunktion A to F for each channel it will have the ‘triggers’ this could be headlight switch on, sidelights on, day running, locking/unlocking or about 100 other things. that will tell you if that specific leuchte channel is related to a light function and exactly what it does.
  18. Not sure what you mean? Leuchte channels are BCM controlled outputs that can vary their output quite a lot and allow active monitoring. do you mean you want to know all leuchte modules related to the headlights?
  19. In the U.K. it is 5 years with no mileage officially. rest of world is normally 210,000km with no time limit. (not including dust climate) so who knows where they got 90k miles from!
  20. The left speaker is part of a standalone system for vehicles with emergency calling. the right speaker is only on vehicles with the canton premium sound system.
  21. First thing I’d be doing is swapping the AFS module bolted to the bottom of the headlamps. see if the module is faulty. if this fault doesn’t follow the module then yeah I’d say a faulty headlight is on the books! other thing you can do is run basic settings and look at the live data at the time and compare the left and right headlight.
  22. Its not really a thing anymore so personally I wouldnt bother. That being said, if you are going to do it, then use genuine oil and filter.
  23. Clean it off, run the car for a few days and see where it leaks from, it will be the pipe or the injector itself. then that leaky part will need replacing, ideally you want to prime the system after replacement with a diagnostic tool then you should be all good to go
  24. It depends which one you have. PM me a photo of your button and I’ll let you know, no more than £20 to 25 posted in the U.K.
  25. Welcome! First question is, are yours whitish/yellow halogen lights or are they the full white LED versions?
