  1. Not denying that trip meter should exist, but parking assist can be disabled...
  2. Traffic sign recognition is in the store at skoda-connect.com. Don't know how well it works, but it's there.
  3. So I received my OBDeleven today and have immediately improved the vRS in like 10 minutes. Enabled 4 apps, because I can't be bothered to research on how to do it manually: - Soundaktor set to 20% volume - Auto door lock setting enabled (why is this not just a thing from factory?) - Interior lightning fading enabled (because, why not?) - Scandinavian DRL's (I paid for the rear lights, I'm going to use them 😃) Highly recommended to anyone who's annoyed by the first two especially.
  4. 50l on 2.0 TSI VRS. 55l on 4x4 2.0TSI or 2.0TDI.
  5. I'm assuming you mean 2.0 TDI non RS version undercarriage.
  6. Chip production is unlikely to recover even in a few years. And if manufacturers get forced to make even more EV's there will be additional shortages of basic materials.
  7. Only front, rear doors was never available. Rear only has lights below the front seats.
  8. If it wasn't you should be jumping in joy, because all these delays are increasing car value and that value will stay increased for years to come, by ordering earlier you're winning big time.
  9. Ah, it's your work vehicle, then sure.
  10. So how exactly does cancelling now help?
  11. I have 2.0l TSI vRS. So I'm going to do oil every ~10000 km. I drive around 50/50 city/town, my every day commute is pretty short so I only get to maybe 15-18k km per year. That's exactly what I mean, the variable servicing is stretched to the very limit of not killing the car, it's not really meant for a car you plan to keep.
  12. Don't know how it works exactly, but I've seen videos with Volvo's new infotainment and it seems pretty brilliant. The cars however are too damn expensive for me, for now.
  13. So I guess they pretty much are all fixed now. Only those first burnt pancakes remain, which is unfortunate if they need to replace hardware to solve the issues, who knows when they will get around to doing it with these shortages.
  14. Some car manufacturers are starting to understand that and are working with Google now to make their own cars use Google maps. Like Volvo or Audi.
  15. My dealer set the service interval to 1 year 15k km for oil without me even asking, but I would have asked for it anyway. I asked him how it actually needs to be performed and he said you can do extra oil changes if you want to, so I'm doing oil/filter after 4-5k and then afterwards I'll do it every 10k km or so. Service intervals on new cars are way too long, they're stretched to the very limit to make it cheaper for those on a lease to own a car, but it hurts the engines in the long run.
  16. I'd say they already are debugged for LHD cars. The assistant systems in RHD cars are broken.
  17. 9 or 10 months isn't a big difference. They make many more Octavia's so it makes sense that those components would experience more of a block.
  18. When using Android auto or Car play you can display maps on the infotainment screen, can't do it on the car dash screen though. I've found that both Waze and Google maps work pretty much flawlessly and boot up very fast. SE should work with wireless android auto, brochure says it does. i) you should try opening the store on your infotainment, i have navigation available there, it's just expensive as heck ii) any cable should work as long as you have one end that works with your phone and one end with usb-c to plug into the car iii) it does display maps on infotainment screen, not the drivers display (does SE have traditional dials or a display?)
  19. I don't think it's available yet. There are only rumours floating around at the moment and some VW and Seat models were leaked by testers with 1890 software version, which is the promised "fix" for most of mib3 issues.
  20. I would try contacting your dealer, there is supposedly a new version coming soon, maybe they have some information. But those devices without a letter at the end seem to have the wireless android auto issues.
  21. Yeah well that's more of the supply issues. It wasn't a downgrade like the other member seemed to imply. It sucks, but it's affecting every manufacturer.
  22. That's actually two decades ago now 😅
  23. There is another thread with people having the exact same issue. Something has to be wrong with the car, I'd stop by the dealer if it's not too far.
  24. I'm buying it because I want orange and you can only set red and yellow without buying the extra colours 🤣
  25. Can you find a cheaper car with a similar engine and gearbox? Yes it's cheap, it's a budget working vehicle.
