Once updated you'll be missing a feature enablement code for predictive navigation functionality, which would break your navigation, PACC and TSR (if equipped). This is why it requires visiting a specialist/main dealer. The update is also designed to be carried out alongside multiple telematics module updates, which aren't DIY 🙂 Our price was for all of the available updates on the vehicle, a main dealer will only carry out the updates you meet the criteria for based on your complaints. ODIS/GEKO requires security clearance and approval by VWAG, along with an expensive diagnostic adapter. It's only available to businesses, not individuals If you update using pirated software, with stolen credentials and cloned tools - you're on your own when something goes wrong. 0 support from VWAG

You're thinking of MOI3. This is MEN3, it uses completely different software 🙂. 1805 is currently the latest for this system

This will handle any parameterisation if necessary You'll likely find the update was rolled out as part of a campaign containing updates for multiple control modules

Drive modes aren't located in the infotainment unit, they're in the diagnostic gateway. They aren't functional without a valid license for each drive mode We can install them though 🙂

This is simply just how aggressive/economically the ACC itself behaves. You only have the option to change it manually because you don't have drive modes, if you had them then the ACC would be adjusted automatically Drive modes are SWaP so protected features They can be added but they're not cheap. It's not just a case of adding a button and turning it on
