Is one of them much longer than the other? P5 You describe "normal behaviour" with standard and most correctly installed aftermarket stereos. As you say, you need the wiring schematic, but some Skodas reversed the permanent and ignition live connections so you may need a wiring adaptor with an aftermarket stereo.

OK. First mark the wiper park position. Loosen the fixing nut one or two turns. Stand the wiper arm into the upright position. Use the arm to wiggle the arm on the spigot. You should feel it come loose. Now undo the nut and lift the arm off the spigot. To replace the arm, put it back on the spigot and line the blade with the marks you made earlier. Now and only now, refit and tighten the nut. Post 2 is just a fuse plan, not a wiring diagram, which is what you ned to wire in the towbar electrics.

@Winston_Woof @PetrolDave @Graham Butcher There is a hybrid petrol/electric version of a Cessna Skymaster using one of the normal Continentals and an electric motor to drive the other propeller. However, it is fitted with the belly cargo pod, which is used as the location for the battery pack, so it's badly compromised on payload volume/mass compared with a conventional twin Continental machine.

I thought you were an engineer? You have a fuel burn by measuring how fast the tank(s) empty, and how much carbon dioxide and water vapour comes out of the engine is basic chemistry.

NO! You have to fix the airbag fault before the light can be cancelled. Also you at least should fail the MoT if the airbag light does not initially illuminate and then extinguish when the car is switched on.

@Jonfa - As @PetrolDave says; additional note that the airbag light is a latching warning so you need VCDS or OBD ii to reset it after correcting the fault.

Which one? I think you need VCDS or OBD II to access the airbag system. These clearly is a fault logged since the light is illuminated.

DRLs come on front only when you start the engine and have no other lights on. You sure you're not looking at front sidelights (tail lights will be on with these).

The one I bought was transferred from their contract hire fleet to their used fleet, and was a very good buy once they'd paid for a new alternator and Sprague clutch to go on it.

If the operation of your lights is similar to mine (QV) (never mind whether or not you have front fogs), the more likely problem is with the dip switch (column switch). You might be able to fix it with Servicol or might need a new switch.

@michaelc - Well, FWIW Toyotas used to be common hereabouts, but have become rare over the last 30 years or so.

How accurately can you measure the lengths of both rods?

TBF I would have read it as "tail light self levelling system" had I not known that there is no such thing.

I had a similar issue with a Citroen XUD engine. The problem there was that the warm (when the cold enrichment had just cut off but the engine wasn't up to operating temperature) idle speed was literally 50rpm too low.

Well sort of. A 225/50 tyre is 225mm tread width and 225/50% sidewall height for 112.5mm wall height. If there were such a thing a 225/100 tyre would have a wall height of 225mm.

@Gazawee - Suggested actions:- Tell us which engine and transmission you have. Change your garage. Get fault codes read using VCDS or OBD II.
