  1. The update is on your computer - not his cable.
  2. Here's 'without' and 'with' photos. πŸ‘ A simple matter of removing one plug (by sliding the red locking pins 'outwards' and then attaching both the PB connectors to re-make the circuit.
  3. They look like MDI cables. Used to connect USB/iPhone etc etc to the car's infotainment system.
  4. There should be a plug & socket just above the accelerator pedal to which you insert the PB fits.
  5. Topic moved. πŸ‘ I’d still try another battery as there’s loads of threads regarding this!
  6. It's not. Any 'quality' SD card will suffice for a Columbus system. The faster the better though.
  7. Look at the links in my signature. Edit. Pipped at the post. BTW no need to have started a new thread so I'll lock this one.
  8. Getting to basics, maybe best to tell us what infotainment system you have too.
  9. Buying a larger card will probably be the best way forward.
  10. In reality the car ordered is the car delivered as I believe there wasn't mention of a MY23 initially? Walking away will incur a cost so ..........
  11. I thought both were able to make and receive calls? Obviously the 'second' phone needs to be selected to make a call though. Can anyone confirm?
  12. Please only use English on Briskoda.
  13. The big question is what are you getting to replace it? 🏎️
  14. Isn’t there a plate (maybe inside the door) that has the details on?
  15. Maybe time to cool things down as I'm sure all parties have the best of intentions? It might also be prudent to bear in mind that people do occasionally move away from the Skoda marque but their inherent knowledge doesn't automatically go too. Briskoda thrives due to its friendly environment and long may it continue in such vein. πŸ₯³
  16. Can you please be a little more explicit as the Vehicle Status page only shows faults!
  17. Update your car profile and I'll move this to the correct section. πŸ‘
  18. The Bolero didn't have Nav and BT was an option. Not the Parrot one though.
  19. At odds with @roottoot, I feel that as it is on the front of the car it would certainly fail an MOT. If not that, then I'd probably class it as the same as Bull Bars - dangerous.
  20. A Ghost Security System is an invisible way of preventing theft. Sometimes a visible one may help too.
  21. The fob needs to be positioned next to the where the steering wheel lock would have been to activate the car.
  22. Turning off Android Auto will have no effect but could it be down to photo size or a sharing permission on the phone? I also seem to recollect each phone contact β€˜favourite’ (on the headunit) was set individually so maybe look at that?
  23. There is a cover that needs popping off on one of the front door locks to allow for emergency access. πŸ”‘
  24. I'm not too sure about your car but most VAG windscreens have an area near the rear view mirror to allow such things to be fitted.
  25. Something is amiss. Don't be concerned about ECU history with a scanner as the dealership will want to scan with their equipment. The towbar company will only have adjusted the settings required to do the job too. Going forward - the dealership will need to sort it sooner rather than later!
