  1. @vasifumi What ever fix they come up with will be for the braking / brakes.
  2. There is a recall in the UK because of a BCM issue and 'hesitations' when accelerating, also the Air Bag issue. It is good when issues are identified and get addressed. If only every manufacturer was to be taking actions over Safety Critical faults. PS. There is also the 'Unintended acceleration when using Cruise Control fault' recall.
  3. ^^^ Business / commercial users, BIK, EV,s , so means of getting about reping etc. Rent an Electric Vehicle that maybe they can charge cheaply at home or work. 300 miles for under £10.
  4. It is as should be. Similar posts / threads over the years on exactly the same thing.
  5. The 15" ones that Skoda / VW sell or provide are also for Fabia with 17" or 18" Alloys & tyres.
  6. As well as compulsory fitted Speed Warnings from 2024 / 25 that might or might not be faulty, There is also a self set Speed Warning, also a 'Winter Tyre' speed warning that can be set when Winter Tyres fitted to remind drivers. EU / UK / Europe.

Actual nearest available to anything from Skoda Heritage or recent Motor Sport success or Rally Heritage would have to be a FABIA. All that is available is the 130 Fabia. Warm towards hot hatch and not the weight of an Elephant or the size of a TAXI / Airport transporter.
  8. If you are clicking on the site the times are clear. Maybe yesterday i should have renewed at the higher tariff and shorter by 1 hour Next Drive but i gambled on waiting till July & seeing. My mistake probably as from next month i can turn off the heating so higher gas price would not of mattered. 6 hours offpeak. & daytime Smart Charging.
  9. 'Eon Next' tariffs increased today for Home charging.
  10. If it does for all Commercial Providers of Public Chargers, not just Community Based groups & whatever limited quantity of electricity. . As for those businesses that can claim back VAT now @ 20%, what difference is there really? For those that pays and that is that then lovely if prices drop, but means nothing if the VAT decreases and electricity costs increase....
  11. @domhnall There is links for Fleet News on the HMRC and the tribunal in the 'Truth about EV,s' thread.
  12. Time will tell just how long until tariffs are increased at Public Chargers if they do increase due to the current and ongoing things elsewhere in the world. Those with Home Fixed Tariffs might be OK for a while. I have a fixed Next Drive tariff until July & it will just be a case of seeing where things get to with the cost of Electricity. Maybe the rises will be no worse than liquid road fuels.
  13. Best check engine mounts.
  14. Aaag. 2 nails in front CrossClimate 3, plugged but still leaking. New tyre ordered for Friday fitting. £150. Serves me right for not getting the Pirelli self sealers.
  15. ? Which Scottish Dealership group are you dealing with? How many miles has your car done. What spec of car, what wheel / tyre size? Have you adjusted the tyre pressures and what are they at? PS, re your previous experience. Misting can be reported for years with vehicles dampers and does not always mean they need replaced.
  16. Maybe show your location / country and when posting say it is a Left Hand Drive car. I read right light and just assumed a Right hand drive car.
  17. The switch for DRL,s was deleted by 2014.
  18. ?Is it a forward facing 'Sidelight'? Or is it a rear SIDELIGHT?
  19. @Jessenjonas Is it the 'Sidelight' / Position light on the Trailer not on when Sidelights are on on the car. Or do you have them to be on with the cars front DRL,s?
  20. First, they will take the drivers phone. That can tell the story of the journey and previous ones, so physically they investigate that. Plus the phone service provider info. Then the cars Satnav, GPS, sim, Then the ECU can be investigated, just as with all modern cars. Fatal's have them checking steering angles, brake pedal pressures in the seconds before crashes. BBC2 'Crash detectives'. was brilliant in showing just how they put together the crash using the ECU information and road measurements and scanning................
  21. @karmichael Was the brake fluid changed at 2 years and the service indicator reset, or was the brake fluid changed this time?
  22. People are driving about in Demonstrators, Courtesy cars, Fleet / Leased vehicles with all sorts of power trains and being Tracked. That is as well as those with Black Boxes they know are fitted.
  23. ^^^ Good stuff, hopefully they know how sh!te some Public Charging is especially in Scotland. How people have to stop and start and try charger after charger and even leave without having charged their vehicle. Pity they will NOT be aware of how many BEV,s are not parked up off road at Registered Addresses for the Registered keeper or on the Electoral Roll.
  24. @WildGoose Clearly not for you.... Na, you are working on funny figures. I have done 80,000 miles now in EV,s. & have ICE cars as well. Devaluation is not an issue when you buy ones that are already devalued and it is a keeper. Like depreciation on any vehicle, depends on how long you run them. Where do you live at or what is your job to be getting £300 more expensive Insurance Quotes over an ICE vehicle of the same value & age?
  25. Nonsense on charging losses. If getting 50 kWh needs 55 kW @ 27 pence a kWh normal tariff, then £15 to go maybe 150-200 miles. 25 pence a kWh, 10 kWh £2.50 taking you 38 miles. So £5 gives 76 miles, ..............£6.20 a gallon. 50 MPG.
