  1. Might be worth checking this out?? Drefaldwyn
  2. A break in the wiring passing through the rubber sleeve near the door hinge?? Drefaldwyn
  3. My local VAG specialist recommends Powerflex - got them fitted on my car. No problems. Drefaldwyn
  4. TPS are the recognised VAG parts supplier. I had mine replaced at a well respected local indy garage who used Powerflex bushes. Can't recall how much it cost but doubtless much less than a Dealer. Hope that helps. Drefaldwyn
  5. Clearly it would affect your ability to transport your passengers in a safe and courteous manner. Is the world going completely barmy or is it just me??? Drefaldwyn
  6. I think that you might need something like a 3C8-035-730-B bluetooth unit. Good luck! Drefaldwyn
  7. You will need to check that your engine is supported in the App.
  8. I use one of these :- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Holder-Mpow-Universal-Rotation-Samsung/dp/B00RVHC2B0/ref=asc_df_B00RVHC2B0/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309924738384&hvpos=1o7&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3209774996828133478&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006814&hvtargid=pla-563914650429&psc=1 Drefaldwyn
  9. My Superb Elegance also has the beige leather interior - I love it!!! The only issue I have is with the front interior door pulls - the plastic on the actual handles has turned to something resembling chewing gum! I have patched them up using self adhesive beige vinyl - acceptable but not perfect. Regards, Drefaldwyn
  10. My unfixed CFFB 140bhp with 112000 miles does an active regen approx every 350/450 miles + several passive regens at varying intervals in between. Drefaldwyn
  11. I use the VAG DPF app + an OBD II adapter. Makes it very easy to keep an eye on the DPF. drefaldwyn.
  12. I always use a local VAG Specialist Independent - Labour rates about half that of the main dealer. I suppose that it comes down to what you are happy with. Drefaldwyn
  13. I'd walk away! Fix the Octy! Drefaldwyn
  14. My 109k miles CFFB engine hasn't been "fixed" and I am fortunate that most of my journeys are on Motorways and Dual Carriageways at national speed limit. Only a few short trips in between. I couldn't agree more that it's worth using the VAG-DPF app - brilliant! I usually manage 300/400 miles between Active Regens. Sometimes see some Passive Regens too. This comment is Just for info and comparison purposes as clearly everyone's circumstances are different. BTW I always use Premium Diesel. Also I don't have any problems with oil level - just uses a wee bit between 10k services. Regards, Drefaldwyn
  15. I use it every time I fill up. Your choice. Drefaldwyn
  16. I don't use additives but I always use premium diesel. e.g. V-Power, Texaco Supreme, Esso Supreme+ etc. Drefaldwyn
  17. Recently had front discs and pads replaced + brake fluid change at local Halfords. Booked online Sunday afternoon, took car in at 8:30 the following day, collected it at 14:30. £320.
  18. I prised mine off quite easily using a small screwdriver. drefaldwyn.
  19. Halfords and F1 are fine for simple stuff but I would suggest a quick "Google" for VAG specialists near Cheltenham. I came up with several options. You may wish to give it a try? Drefaldwyn
  20. "btw, why the oil ash is not shown for me?" Try touching the "Oil Ash" section on the screen. HTH. Drefaldwyn
