There are half a dozen air temperature sensors around the system. Without plugging self diagnostics in and reading the live data from the sensors you are guessing and potentially wasting time and money,

Is it a factory fitted parking system?

Need to update the VCDS lead to get all the information but that's some list of errors. I would disconnect the head unit and whatever CAN bus device you have, clear everything down and see what's left. Can't see the wood for the trees in that lot, but something is upsetting the CAN network.

No scheduled interval for changing it. Just check top/up.

Both quite common. I'd do the control unit first and try and reset the motor.

Is it leaking? No, it will be alreet then. Tick the box.

Some either don't have the brain power or lack the motivation to engage brain power. One of the reasons I left after 20 years, it was a struggle seeing it from the inside, quite self defeating.

Seen plenty of bell ends drain out the differential oil, force some more oil into the Haldex unit (leaving the diff empty). Then a short while up the road with no diff oil in it the diff overheats and cracks.

I still don't get the point of the slots when you have to take the nuts off the turbo to get the old gasket off anyway?

I would feed that back to Customer Services to be honest. You may even get a survey to fill out after your dealer visit so mention it then too. Just take the caps lock off when you do, it's always best to remain calm when logging a complaint.

So how do you get the old gasket out? And remember to blank it at the right end.

I would assume finding a gearbox from an Up GTI would be nigh on impossible being as the cars are fairly rare anyway.
