Glove Box Light - how do you put it back together?!
I had that problem only a couple of weeks ago. I found some images on an Audi forum showing how to orientate the spring into the correct position. Eight hours later I gave up and ordered a replacement unit from Ali Express. £4.27 delivered.

Air quailty sensor faulty but where????
At a guess ACM = Air Conditioning Module, that I understand is the panel on the dashboard/centre consul where you adjust the temperatue etc.

- Replacing 17" Alloys with 16" Alloys
I'm back. I've given "likes" for responding whilst not necessary agreeing with any sentiment of any particular posting. I asked the original question as I didn't know and am grateful that forum members took time out to respond. I turned up at the seller's as agreed and took my ruler to measure the PDC. I then politely declined the purchase and advised the seller to included wheel and tyre details in his listing using the information learned from the above postings, so future prospective buyers would be better informed. He thanked me for the advise! The front of my home needed the hedges cutting back. Now I have finally completed that task, I have realised my car can be parked off road. The kerb at the pavement has been lowered and there is a gap in the hedge to enter and exit. I did not realise the front was so big and could probably fit both my wife's Karoq (MK2) and my own car in the space available. What I now think I will do is place the car on axle stands whilst the wheels are being refurbished. I think this will be better as without a garage there would be nowhere to store spare wheels when not in use, something I had not considered earlier. Kev.- Air quailty sensor faulty but where????
It was a pig to locate. There is a plastic cover held on by 2 screws on the passenger side. It's under that.- Replacing 17" Alloys with 16" Alloys
Thanks @Paws4Thot , I've already contacted the seller earlier and have arranged to take a look. As I was orginally only looking for alloys getting tyres as well seemed like a bonus.- Replacing 17" Alloys with 16" Alloys
The seller does not give any detail in the description, so I don't know. What should I be looking for? Looking for a quick sale 16" alloys and "fitted with commercial rated tyres" is the description. I took the tyre size from an image. A tyre comparison website gives me:- The alloys are VW branded, so I am assuming the wheel bolts will align.- Wheel nut
On Ebay there are seller's who can replace for ~£20.00. You just need to send a image and they will match to that.- Replacing 17" Alloys with 16" Alloys
Hi, I looking to refurbish my existing 17" Cerberus alloys and need to obtain a spare set of wheels to do so. The current 17" alloys have 225/45ZR17 tyres. I have seen for sale some 16" alloys fitted with 185/60R16 tyres at a price I can afford. Would these be a suitable replacement. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks. Kev.- Footwell lighting
Thanks. Just got to wait for the postman now.- Footwell lighting
Thanks. I have found the slot. I have the L&K with heated seats so there might be a plug in there somewhere. Where have you mounted the front ones? Did you cut holes or is there an existing slot? Kev.- Footwell lighting
Thanks to your post - I have just bought a kit from Ali Express. I went for Halogen in the end and not the LED type as I think I prefer the OEM look. Where have you mounted the rear lamps? Could you please post a image? Pin 50. From what I can tell from your picture, at the bottom of each row of pins there is a number and reading from right to left (I'm guessing a bit so check) 52, 41, 24, 11. These numbers relate to the last pin number in each row. So pin 50 in your picture is the row furthest to the right and the third pin counting up or to rephrase pin 52 is bottom right, pin 51 is one up above that and pin 50 is above that.- Coolant leak
Coolant pressure bottle? The thing the coolant is poured into that is made of plastic and is susceptable to fracturing. When parked a leak may not be detectable as a crack would only open up when the coolant temperature is hot and the coolant pressure is high. ~£15.00 for a replacement part and easy to replace. Whilst performing the repair you could also replace the washer bottle feed pipe as I can see that is also knackered and has a big hole in it. Kev.- Engine Support Beam
Don't know why that last image has been inserted. I can't get rid of it, so it will have to stay- Engine Support Beam
Thanks for coming back to me on this. The work ended up getting cancelled anyway, apparently a 19th wedding anniversary is not celebrated with engine oil. I think the only options are to use the outer wings or use a jack under the sump. The beam is 1.5 meters wide so easily wide enough. As I've now had a detailed look and discovered there is support under the wings. LHS Wing Lacking Rain Channel. LHS Wing Showing Inner Support. RHS Wing Showing Inner Support. Yes, I am going to build up something to protect the wings. First I have some sheep wool padding that came as insulation in a recent package. There is enough to fold double thickness and have a large pad for each side. I will place these pads on top of the wing first so any grit is not pressed into the paintwork. I'll wipe down the wings before I start anyway. I will use masking tape to hold position. On top of the sheep wool padding I am going to place a 5mm thick neoprene pad. This is to help spread the load. Bought via Ebay . To protect the entire wing I will be using a Magnetic Fender Cover again bought via Ebay. These will go over the pads. It will probably be a few weeks now until I do any work. The tensioner is only being fitted for peace of mind so no urgency. I'll update when I get further. Kev.- Engine Support Beam
Calling @Alasdair1 - one for you. Was planning on fitting the updated timing chain tensioner this bank holiday weekend having read about the 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI engine failures in the pinned thread here https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/266114-18tsi-and-20tsi-engine-failures/. Over the winter months I have bought all the tools, consumables and parts I thought I might require. Last on the list was an engine support beam off Ebay. This arrived last week. My son came over yesterday as he is going to be helping me and wants to learn 'mechanicing' as he calls it. I lifted the bonnet of my car an immediately noticed a problem. I had believed the engine support beam rubber feet would just mount into the rain channels on both sides of the engine bay. This is what the Youtubers do. Except there are no rain channels. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to position the feet for the support beam? I have read in the forum posts that @Alasdair1 has used an engine support beam on his own vehicle so how did you position it? I don't want to damage the wings. Thanks, Kev.- Would you buy this car?

Whether an upgraded module will fix the issue you are having, I have no idea. Hope I have been of some help. Kev.- barn find felicia pickup.
