  1. No on a 2019 SEL.
  2. No, I disagree, your first line sums up the problem with Briskoda....... The OP specifically asked if the warranty would be affected, I believe I answered his question, albeit from my 'armchair'......... I agree it won't necessarily void any warranty but it'll make life difficult - in these progressive days of 'no service book', how's the OP going to get his first service details loaded into the VAG group service record computer - short answer is 'he won't' and thus any service record check/enquiry being made later down the line will show his vehicle as having an incomplete history.
  3. I suspect, in your heart, you know the answer - do I take my new £30k motor to the dealer for a first service or do I save an hour and let my man do it and potentially argue the toss later down the line.......?
  4. I don't see why they wouldn't stick - however, looking at the picture.............are you sure?
  5. It'd be nice if the warning came with the audible chime that normally accompanies alerts / warnings...........
  6. .....or perhaps there might be a way to disable the constant transmitting - 'cut the blue wire' ........
  7. I wouldn't worry, despite what the 'barrack room lawyers' might have to say - if they look right and fit without catching on full lock then where's the problem?
  8. Well said zappahey, I was going to post something similar but couldn’t be bothered...........👍
  9. My LED upgrade helps me SEE better when reversing down my drive........
  10. It worked for me..........
  11. I'll take my chance on this one - however - I doubt such a change of bulb could be used by an insurance company to leave you high and dry........... I'd opt for my day in court if needed.
  12. I wouldn't worry, if there's anything amiss I think the system knows and will flag a warning...........
  13. On my trip all I did was alter the ‘drive on the left / right’ setting and all was well with my ACC, both going out and returning.
  14. Have you swapped the ‘drive on left / right’ option in the menu?

Quite a turnaround for the Velvet Red - costs a bloody fortune yet looks almost the same as the last outgoing VWG free colour, Signal Red. We run a Karoq in Energy Blue and, to my eyes, looks just fine.
  16. Unless things have changed in recent months it’ll be a 2025 as fitted across the VW range for many years. However, I doubt you’ll be troubled in the near future by a battery change as a 10 year battery life is not uncommon In those fobs.
  17. ...and the original battery was?
  18. I have a gripe about the wipers on our SEL, I don't hear the blades on the screen but the motor makes enough noise to be an irritation - on my Golf all my other cars in recent memory they were quiet enough for me not to have noticed or indeed ever considered the motor whirring - but the Karoq - too noisy.
  19. I’d like to think I keep abreast of most Karoq topics but I read in this weeks Autocar that there’s a problem with front seat frames on cars built early 2019 - have I missed this problem on here? I did a search and nothing turns up but I might be searching the wrong terminology?
  20. Had a look at ours today, not as bad as the OP but there are a few 'teardrops' along the seam - doesn't look too obvious as it's quite dirty under there - what I did find was that (in this afternoons 30° heat) I simply touched the teardrops with my finger and they came off / squished, I'm assuming it's just wax?
  21. Let me warn you, it’s very hard to do and quite surprising how quickly the vehicle can stop with a left foot only ever used to going to the floor.....!

How does this cope with the privacy glass on the rear window?
  23. We've got the 1.0 engine and I've had two people / passengers ask if it's a battery hybrid vehicle as it's so quiet when in town and on tickover.........
