2020 superb F/L interior lights
On the pre-facelift Superb, the interior lights turn on when u open the door, not when u turn the ignition off. I would assume the same for the facelift Superb too.

RH Dipped headlamp warning but lamp is OK
There r a number of fuses that r headlight related:- 23 - light right 31 - light left 35 - AFS 36 - headlight right 37 - headlight left 43 - xenon headlights The headlight power ballast, one each, at the back of the headlight, is also a likely culprit. On RHD Superb the BCM is located on the left of the passenger footwell, below the glovebox. It's not easy to get to at all, especially if u want to disconnect the connectors. It is highly unlikely that the connection at the BCM is the culprit here. In the pic below, u can see the connectors for B and C. The connector for A is further in.

Superb III 2.0TSI strongest version engines
CJX is EA888 Gen 3. DNU & DNF are EA888 Gen 4. Both DNU & DNF have no MPI (multi point injection) Both of them pair with 7sp DQ381 DSG, and have GPF. While CJX, has both direct injection and mpi, pairs with 6sp DQ250 DSG, and works without GPF.

What software version am I running
Pre-facelift 2015-2017 use MIB2 units. Pre-facelift 2018-2019 use MIB2.5 units. Facelift 2020 onwards use MIB3 units.

Bluetooth + smartlink update
238-306 etc etc is for the MIB3 units. 1382, 1440 etc etc is for MIB2, MIB2.5 units. Firmware updates cannot be done via the online update portal. Search this forum - there r a few discussions which provide instructions on how to update the MIB2/2.5 firmware.

Any way of disabling this auto braking?
Please don't go sticking stuff over or blocking the ACC Radar!! U can disable the "under taking prevention" using OBDEleven or VCDS. Coding below. Under taking prevention is known to b trigger happy by slamming on the brakes when a car slows down to turn left in the adjacent left lane (for LHD) or when turning right in the adjacent right lane (for RHD). Very annoying, and yes, can b dangerous if someone rear ends u. Disabling it will not cause it to slam on the brakes.

Does updating the nav file mean you lose an SD card slot ?
The Columbus does not need the maps on the SD-Card to operate. Once updated, u remove the SD-Card.

Front radar
As above - a damaged ACC radar will cause a range of issues and disable a number of assist systems. Fixing it is complex and will require expensive recalibration of the radar too.

The 280PS Thread
The reverse parking sensors on the Superb is on the black diffuser bit, not on the painted bumper bit.

Skoda superb workshop manual
That is for the pre-facelift models. Frizz needs the workshop manuals for the facelift, i.e. 2020 onwards.

Help needed to change car skin
@Waylon - so 1382 is the last MIB2.5 firmware to contain the pre-facelift images? Dang-na-mit. I don't trust myself with the MIBToolkit. Guess I'll just have to live with FL image.......

Help needed to change car skin
@langers2k - MY18 & MY19 are pre-facelift Superbs that came with MIB2.5 units from factory, so yes, it is an official combo. when Skoda switched to the facelift towards the end of MY19 onwards - the image was changed to a facelift version. @Waylon - i'm currently running MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526_1 MU 1440. from the little i can find on Google, these are the codes (associated to 5F long coding):- - 038401 = Superb Sedan Liftback - 037901 = unknown??? - 038401 = Superb Sedan - 038402 = Superb Combi currently mine is set to 038401 byte 0 = brand byte 1 = car class/generation byte 2 = car derivate/derivate_supplement

TPMS retrofit
If u read the topic heading, it says "TPMS retrofit" - in other words this is discussion is NOT about the normal Indirect TPMS that uses ABS sensors. Rather this discussion is about Direct TPMS that has a module and 4x sensors, which can be retrofitted. I've retrofitted this to my Superb many many years ago.

TPMS retrofit
I'm not sure wat ur saying there - sorry. The Superb never came with direct TPMS, so I'm not sure wat part number ur referencing against. Wat "display car" r u referring to? U install the TPMS inside each wheel, and once u drive for a bit the module will workout which sensor is in which tyre, based on relative position of the signals received.
