I haven't adjusted them at that point as it was still up on jack stands. I was just checking to make sure it was working before buttoning things back up. I did the adjustment once the car was back on the ground. I hate dazzlers myself.

After some convincing from a fellow Skoda friend, with a good recommendation - I finally decided to pull the pin (after a few years of ummm'ing and arrr'ing) and put in LED globes in Gandalf's headlights. I already had Phillips xTremeVision Gen2 D3S globes in there, been almost 4 yrs now. These new ones r J.W.Speaker D3S LED bulbs. 5700K, 4500 Lumens. Plug n Play. Initial thoughts - they're definitely more brighter. Fitment is good, just like the normal xenon bulb. Headlight beam is good, both high and low. Fans r a bit noisy, u can hear them with just accessories turned on, and the headlight back cover off. Not in a bad annoying way. With the engine on, u don't hear it. Happy with it. I bought mine secondhand, so I paid nowhere near that. I understand ur confusion with all the different part numbers. I would warn u though to b mindful of the airbag. I believe the airbag design is different for steering wheels from MY18. Hence u might find two different part numbers for a steering wheel that has the same features, but it will b a different airbag variant.

@bradecline - so I can confirm that the behaviour is as u said - "when ACC is activated at speed below 65 km/h? When I activate ACC below that speed, lane guidance is inactive. I need to accelerate to 65 to activate it. Then it works at speeds below 65 km/h as long as ACC is active"

I upgraded my round steering wheel for a flat-bottomed version. Old Wheel: 3VO 419 091 S CWE New Wheel: 565 419 091 E BGW The airbag from my old wheel was compatible with the flat-bottomed wheel. Mine is MY17, paddle-shift version, no heating.

Will check it out trow, but from memory I think I can activate TJA (ACC + ALG) below 65 km/h, and have ALG doing it's thing. Will let u know soon.

I personally hate Coasting because there is no speed control and i end up with a runaway car that is over speeding!! Because I'm over speeding, I have to hit the brakes to slow it down. But as soon as i hit the brakes, Coasting stops and the engine goes into gear. So wats the point!?!!? Annoying and frustrating. So I never bother with ECO mode at all.

Not sure, likely it's the same. But I know for sure Superb 3V and Passat B8 share the same suspension components. Whilst the Superb is bigger than the Passat, dimensions wise, it is identical in size with the Arteon.

Yes, u can have active lane guidance active without having ACC active. I use it like this quite often. The only catch is that u must b doing more than 65 km/h for adaptive lane guidance to work. If however u have ACC active too, then Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) is enabled and lane guidance will work continue to work even at speeds below 65 km/h, down to a stop. Mine is MY17.

Sorry, I meant to say ACC disables the Coasting function. ACC still works in ECO driving mode.

In my 2017 Superb with DSG, Coasting was only in ECO driving mode. ECO mode also disables ACC.

@defsix - understand, I much prefer the metal case version too. I was tempted to try going down the path of upgrading to the new mk8 Golf key, but I can't see anyone that has done it before with this version of the Superb key. Most of them r flip keys, which the Superb key is not.

I did consider that, and that was my initial plan, but why waste money when I have an unused key sitting in the cupboard. Now that I've learnt how to take it apart, next I will have no hesitation in getting a replacement key shell.

The buttons on Gandalf's main key fob were getting "lethargic" after almost 7 yrs of service. So I decided to fix it by transplanting the buttons from my unused 3rd key fob. The button presses r much better now. I decided to make a video and share it for anyone that may need to "repair" their key fob. The same process applies to the Kodiaq MK2 and Passat B8 key fobs, with KESSY.

The ambient lighting trim bit is plastic riveted to the door card. U can see it in the pic below. This is my rear door card.

No rubbing at all. Compared to the factory size (235/40r19), this size (245/40r19) is more comfortable, more affordable, better availablity (more brand choices), and speedo is more accurate. Many Superb owners have made this switch. Highly recommended.

Speaking of tyres on a hatch, 2017, and 220 - I'm really happy with the Continental MaxContact6 tyres on mine. 245/40r19.

based on the part number in ur image - 565035021C, u have a MIB2.5 unit - these r NOT capable of wireless Android Auto or CarPlay, no matter the firmware update. Only MIB3 units r capable of wireless. if u want wireless AA, i suggest u get an add-on dongle, like AAWireless. i have been using one of these for many years now. see image below. its great. if u want to update ur firmware - i've made a how-to for it for when i updated my unit. - Firmware Update Guide v1.0.pdf

@george_d - doubt it will work at all. A heated steering wheel uses a 14-pin connector. A non-heated steering wheel uses a 16-pin connector. Unless u get a Kufatec connector conversion.

if i remember correctly - a heated steering wheel requires a different steering clock spring. this is due to the differences in the wiring required for the heated steering wheel. so i don't think it will b possible to simply change the wheel alone.

Another vote for mudflaps - really useful in keep most of the crap off the sides of the car. I initially had AliExpress mudflaps, however I replaced them as they were much smaller than the Skoda original mudflaps, which I have on now.
