Changed the plastic aero undertray to a longer version, which in theory should help with better airflow underneath the car. Item #1 in the Reference image below. Will b interesting to c wat it does to the engine temps, and fuel economy, if anything. Comes with a fitting kit (screws & bolts). No cutting, modifications, or special brackets required. Remove old, and put in new. Car needs to b on jacks up front, or up on a hoist. Part No.: 5Q0825236Q (has now been superceded by 5Q0825236N) Next I'm getting the centre exhaust tunnel cover too. Item# 2 in the Reference image below. The Superb has the slim/short version of it already. 5Q0825229C is the longer version. my Superb 220 (TSi) MY17 has been averaging 8.4L / 100 km, over the past 6 yrs plus. i regularly get between 750 to 820 km per full tank, using 98 RON. most i've done is 984km on a single tank, with 0 left on the Range indicator. with a Stg 1 ECU + DSG tune, i'm no light-footed driver!!

+1 I've been using Android Auto for many years now and I've never seen instructions (Waze or Google Maps) shown on the driver's centre cluster. Same deal with those who have the Virtual Cockpit. It will only ever show the built-in navigation maps and directions.

At my last 90k service, it was noted that the upper timing cover was sweating/misting oil, which requires a new replacement upper timing cover assembly with new seals, as well as replacing the camshaft adjuster magnet with an updated unit. In the meantime, I changed the oil filler cap on my 220 Superb to a newer revision cap (yellow bottom) as the sweating/misting oil seemed to b concentrated around the cap. Old: 06K 103 485 A New: 06K 103 485 D After a week of use, there is no more oil misting around the oil cap. Don't know if it's because the new oil cap has fresh seals/rubber, or because it is indeed a revised version, though I couldn't pick out any design changes between the two caps.

What I did : - lifted car - Control Module 14-Adaptive Suspension - Entered security code 20103. - Go to Adaptations, Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” - Acknowledge by pressing and holding the green tick, or swipe right. - Go back to Control Module 14 - Go to Basic Settings - Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” - Start by pressing and holding the green tick, or swipe right.

read the posts above!! as already mentioned by @Stunner - there is no right rear sensor, hence no readings/values. that's normal. as for the incorrect sequence error u need to follow the steps properly. summarised version:- - adapting with deflected wheels acknowledgement - run basic settings for adapting with deflected wheels - done ensure all 4 wheels r suspended simultaneously, and must b within range.

+1, it's old, but not obsolete. ....also famously said by a Terminator 😉 The stuff recommended already still applies.

It's easy to change out the turbo inlet elbow and pipe. The Turbo Muffler delete is a lot more tricky cause of it's location. Likewise the diverter valve cause of the bolt location. I've got an APR Turbo inlet pipe (carbon), Racingline Turbo Inlet Elbow, 034 Turbo Muffler Delete and GFB Diverter valve.

Sadly the wagon variants will b the exact same car, just with a different face & butt between the Superb & Passat. Both will b built at the same factory, on the same line. There is no new Passat sedan, unlike the Superb liftback. So nothing to share there. The mk3 Superb is the last of it's kind. It was different and a size larger than B8 Passat. The mk4 Superb is not unique anymore.

That's incorrect - even if the new battery has the exact same specs (Ah and A), u still should do the battery adaptation, as good practice. Over time, as the battery gets old, the battery charging and conditioning algorithm will change, to adapt to the aging battery. When u put a new battery in, and do the adaptation - it will reset the charging and conditioning pattern, that is ideal for a new/fresh battery.

Yes. U can use VCDS or OBDEleven (pic below) to do it urself. A good battery technician/shop will know how to do it. A friendly dealer can do it for u. Plenty of how to guides & videos on the internet.

There is no Superb vRS, never has been. As mentioned above already, the welcome screen on urs has been changed by the previous owner. It can b done using VCDS or OBDEleven.

Was the battery adaptation coding carried out after the new battery was installed, by the shop? If not, ur car will still think the old battery is still there, and treat it like the old one.... literally.

I used the mibsolution website to get the firmware I needed. Mine was MHI2. I went up from 0942 to 1433, but mine is MHI2, not MST2 like urs. Yes I have Canton. There was no need to re-parameterize. No, it doesn't add more features as it's not an upgrade. I didn't have any issues prior to doing the update, I just wanted to bring it up to the latest available version. Since I did update, the Infotainment unit is much more responsive, taking less time to do things, and seems to boot up faster. Happy with it.

My 220 is doing 530Nm at the wheels. I'm running an APR Stage 1 Hi-torque ECU tune, paired with a DSG tune.

If u don't do any coding, even if it's the exact same make & specs, there is no way the car will know u have a new battery, and will continue to charge/condition the battery as if it's the old one. This is not good for a new/fresh battery that needs to have different charging cycle. Sure, the new battery will work, ur car will work normally, but in the end, ur doing the new battery a disservice, and reducing the longevity of the new battery.
