Ur parking sensors will automatically activate when u get close to an object while traveling below 15 km/h. Auto-hold is active when it's amber. It will remember this state ever after turning the car off. Start-stop is inactive when its amber. The car will always revert to active state (not amber) everytime the car is started. Unless u've disabled start-stop, or in my case - fitted a Start-stop memory module.

No one has been able to crack this one yet. It's not just a Skoda thing - same deal with VW and Audi. It's embedded in the parameter file, somewhere. Most definitely cannot b accessed or altered via VCDS or OBDEleven. Having said that, my SLA function activates at 40 km/h, not the usual 60 km/h for HBA. Prior to retrofitting the SLA headlights, my HBA used to activate at 60 km/h.

As @Bap33 mentioned, the lower grille is exposed indeed. U might as well mesh it too if ur doing the top grille. Getting the lower grille off is a bumper off job too.

There r 9 screws that hold the grille to the front bumper, and 8 tabs/clips!!! Bit overkill, but yeah, having the front bumper off will involve a lot less swearing, in order to remove & fit the grille. To remove bumper - wheels off, wheel arch liner off, disconnect washer pipe, disconnect wiring harness, remove screws - pull bumper out. be careful NOT to hit/upset/knock the ACC radar while sliding the bumper in/out. I forgot to finish writing about the bottom two pics..... .....I have a hatch, and that's a pic of the c-pillar trim removed. U bring the wire up, behind the rear seat side bolster, and up into the area shown in the pic. With the wagon, this might b different though, meaning u'll have to probably run behind the boot side trim towards the tail light, and then routing up to the boot lid hinge.

Mine doesn't have any foam base on the floor. Just the foam that holds all the bits n pieces, n sits inside the tyre, as per my pic earlier.

As long as u got it covered According to the fuel flap, the minimum load ratings r as follows:- 215/60R16 = min 95 215/55R17 = min 94 235/45R18 = min 94 235/40R19 = min 96 I don't know what the minimum load rating for a Superb is with 20" rims, let alone 215/45R20. On the Arteon, a similar sized car to the Superb, from the VWAG family, states min 95 with 245/35R20.

+1. @AIVal - have u considered the minimum load rating required for the Superb? i c ur talking about circumference/diameter, rim sizes etc etc. but i don't see anything on the load rating, which is a critical factor.

u need to have Smart Light Assist version of the Bi-Xenon headlights. u can tell this by popping the bonnet open and looking at the part number on top of each headlight. if it ends in B, you have the SLA capable Bi-Xenons, hence working "eye-lashes" or "whiskers". eg. 3V2941015B if it ends in A, you have the normal Bi-Xenons, which can only go as high as High Beam Assist (HBA). they do not have working "eye-lashes" or "whiskers". e.g. 3V2941015A version A headlights do not have the necessary hardware in them for the whiskers to work. i upgraded my version A headlights to version B about 2 yrs ago.

@Superbsport - removing the A-pillar is not difficult, its the "putting it back" bit that is tricky, because u gotta align it perfectly, and swing it in, while pushing down the bit which slides into the dash. took me a number of goes, lots of swearing & sweating, but got it in the end. this is the A-pillar trim removed. the bit on the left slots/slides in between the dash and the pillar. u can also see the two clips, which need to be aligned (while pushing down, with holes in the A-pillar), before pushing in hard to secure the A-pillar trim. u can see the existing routing inside the A-pillar here, with the airbag sitting in front. with the plastic cover on the end of the dashboard - it pops off very easily. u'll notice a small indent, which u can place a tool in to pry it out.

if a device is left connected to the USB port, yes, u have to manually turn it off. in my case, we don't leave any devices in the car, so no potential for battery drain.

if u've got curtain airbags - do NOT run/tuck the cable between the roof liner and rubber seal as it will foul the airbags deploying properly in the event of a side impact. run the cable down along the door sill, under the plastic trim, and then back up the C-Pillar to go into the boot, and up to the boot lid. with the A-pillar, remove the trim and run the wire behind the airbag, along the existing wiring bundle.

That's incorrect - 215 will always b 215mm wide, regardless of the rim width. Likewise, a 225 tyre will always measure 225mm wide. If ur overstretching the tyre by fitting it on to rim too wide for it, like 215 on 8J, then that's not normal.

Yes, should fit with no issues. This is the 16" Spare in my boot.

i believe they're known as "cat-eyes". my Superb's rearview mirror doesn't have ambient lights, nor have i noticed it on other Superbs, or Skoda Models.

my mk3 Superb with DCC and 19" (235/40R19, 8J) is much much more comfortable and quieter, than the 18" (225/40R18, 7.5J) i had on my mk2 Octavia RS, which didn't have the option of DCC.

Did u the pre-coded program for the DRL stripes? Or did u manually do the individual code changes? Cause if the first one, I'm not surprised that it's done "other" things.

u unclip (pull upwards) the right side from the hinge, then slide it out (towards the right) from the left hinge. i found it easier to unclip the cover first though, before trying to remove it out. there r two clips at the top u can pry apart, and there r two clips at the bottom of it.

the facelift Superb has changed a lot when it comes to modules, and hence the associated codings. codings that works for pre-FL will not b the same, vcds or obdeleven.

the 034-Motorsport aluminum dogbone insert has made a MASSIVE difference for me. Mine has the DSG6 gearbox. There is no "clunk" of the gearbox, and the shifts r more firm/quicker. NVH has not been compromised either.

The Superb 220 does not have a Soundikator.
