How-to: DCC Recalibration
Hmmm, not sure wat is happening there. Did u enter the security code, then go to adaptations, then check adapting deflected values first, then back out (to module 14) and then go to perform basic settings? Yes, ignition off, but ACC on. .....and ur using OBDEleven yeah?

The Superb III Picture thread
Thanks. I'm a bit of a nutcase with my car. The link in my signature to my build thread will reveal the truth. The Karoq Sportline in particular is a looking car. Wat colour did u get? Lol, an Aussie sub-forum here!! We do have an Aussie facebook group "auskoda"

Seat memory issues
i had issues about 1.5 yrs back - my seat memory would not store/remember any positions. i tried all the "tricks" to get it working again - but no luck. they (dealer) tried doing a software update to the seat controller module - no luck. end result was the seat memory driver module (J810) was replaced under warranty. haven't had any issues since. new module 5Q0 959 760 C old module 5Q0 959 760 B

Blind Spot system and Rear Traffic system unavailable
There is no separate controller for the Rear Traffic Alert. As I mentioned before, this is done by the 3C Lane Change Assist module, which u can already see. I don't see any added benefit u upgrading to HEX-V2 in this instance. The master (controller) is below the right taillight. there is a slave under the left taillight.

Upgrade to spare wheel
As I said before - the 280/272 (206kW) engine has bigger 340mm brakes which the 16" rim will NOT clear it. If u've got a 280, then get a 17 or 18" spare. Or if u want cheaper, get a 16", but u'll b able to use it on the rear. The 2.0L 220 (162kW) engine has 312mm brakes, hence the 16" rim is fine, front or back. I don't know wat size the TDi versions have.

next time please try the Search function - its amazing how much info u can find!!

Upgrade to spare wheel
The 280/272 engine has bigger brakes, hence they require a 17" spare to clear the brakes. All the others can have a 16" spare.

Never come across the issues u've encountered, and I've had the car since new.

How-to: DCC Recalibration
thought I'd share something I learnt recently. tried it, and its worthwhile. this is intended for those with DCC shocks and have lowered springs. I've got Eibach ProKit Springs, which has dropped the car 25mm. this procedure recalibrates the DCC, and is recommended to be done after the car has been lowered. the end result is a more refined "bounce" and a reduction of bottoming-out (in Comfort and Normal modes). while the change is not night & day difference, u can certainly feel the DCC rides better now with the lowered springs. u'll need:- - to make sure to jack your ur up, or lift it, so that all 4 wheels are sagging fully, off the ground - an OBDEleven tool (NOTE: this CANNOT be done with VCDS) Go to Control Module 14 - Adaptive Suspension Enter security code 20103. Go to Adaptations Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” Take note of the values, as they should change later. Don’t change anything, instead back out Enter Basic Settings Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” Slide to Start or Press & hold Green tick to Start. It should run for a second and then say something like basic setting ended. That’s it, you’re done. Double check adaptations to make sure the values have changed and saved.

Triple R Composites Front Splitter
i imported the side skirts myself using myGermany for shipping (cost 100 euros) . i purchased from Rieger Tuning GmbH (in Germany) directly. previously, a mob in melbourne called Prestige Auto Works were the nominated importers for Rieger in Australia - but their service was sh1thouse n they were never interested in helping. hence why i went my own way to import it. since then, Rieger now use Exotic Cars in Sydney to import Rieger bits to Australia. they (Arthur) is very helpful. i'm currently talking to him about the front splitter.

Triple R Composites Front Splitter
I find the Rieger products top notch in terms of quality, fitment & durability. I used to have a full Rieger body kit on a 2005 Astra I used to have - it was brilliant. I now have Rieger side skirts on my Superb. The fitment is on point. It uses existing mount points and holds well to the body. As @SashaGrace mentioned, they're made of high quality ABS plastic, a must for these types of components. I too am considering a front splitter, but looking at Rieger as it doesn't stick out like a snow plow, when compared to other offerings!!! Like @newbie69, I don't like protruding splitters offered by Maxton and Kopacek. Only thing is if I do get the splitter, then I'll jeopardise Gandalf's "subtle" look!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Fair enough. We get them as standard here in Oz. We don't get the L&K model here. We get "mutant" versions here. Mine is MY17.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
The Superb comes with built-in retractable sun shades in the rear doors, so why buy Carshades? Or am I missing something?

Mirrorlink
i used to be able to watch YouTube videos on my Columbus unit, via MirrorLink using my old HTC One X mobile. i haven't been able to recently (changed phones, now i have a Pixel 5) as MirrorLink will only work with certain Android phones. i was able to view anything that was shown on my phone, and interact with it using the Columbus screen. Chrome, Calculator, Pictures etc etc. screenshots below.

- Blind Spot system and Rear Traffic system unavailable
The rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring is done by the BSM radar behind the rear bumper. No relation to the PDC sensors or trailer connections. Either there is a fault with one of the radars (one on each side), or the blind spot indicator on the wing mirrors.- Virtual Pedal Retrofit
All the wiring for PDC sensors and virtual pedal connectors come up to this one plug, which connects to the CANBUS wiring that runs into the car body under the master (right side) BSM radar.- Trolley jack and axle stand location
I've never removed the front rubber bungs the 3 or 4 times I've had the front up on axle stands. It's not needed to b removed. - Blind Spot system and Rear Traffic system unavailable
