I was trying to figure it out last week after a test drive. trying to figure if a base 60, govt grant, is better than a base higher spec. Eg sportline. I might play with the options tomorrow.

Saw one in the flesh the other day. have to say for 57k … there are a lot of other choices. it does look good though. Just not sure who will buy it. I don’t think any of them actually use 100% renewables. you’ll find an asterix somewhere that talks about carbon/unit trading or something akin to that. there is no way the kettle I just turned on can use energy guaranteed to me from renewables. It might come from nuclear. The units I’ve used as a whole maybe traded against renewables. So come month, year end when trading done my energy impact will be tallied against renewables. that’s how I’ve understood it anyhow still better to be done than not done octopus is another strong contender. i think all the energy companies are at risk, so not worrying about it till the government has to renationalise it. After all why should there be obscene profits on a required resource. Those profits that disappeared, capitalism at work now. The big ones will ride it out, then make up for it. 😞 altough you could argue only water is truly required for life. reducing our energy consumption is the logical step… silly little things like, wearing a jumper or two. I have a body warmer on under a jumper on top of two t shirts heating won’t be on today. frogs might be playing in the cellar though.

I'm looking for hosting options that are carbon negative now. Although we're pretty sure we're negative now in what we do for briskoda. Got a bit to do personally to get to negative and quite a bit to get to negative overall. Got to be worth it though...

Was away in Cornwall. No internet really. drove to local Sainsbury’s to drop off recycling found a queue at the wadi round the block. Penzance. popped 13l of unleaded in at the next stop for insurance. drove 90miles to another stop, with a queue. Decided to drive around the queue, reversed in and filled up. another stint saw us up in the midlands. Closed forecourt but shop open. Popped in had a dry sandwich and asked if it was ok to fill up. Apart from no diesel, we filled the tank. drove the rest of the way back on that fill. I have to say that, there were some quite confused faces seeing my mates van filling it’s tank quite happily. Us with a slight grin. teo sided really, wed of been more than happy to be stranded in Cornwall till this all passed. as it was we had no excuse and no problem getting fuel. something to be said for a LPG conversion after all then. All the way to and back from Lincoln to Cornwall on gas and it’s only 79p a litre. And no queues at the pump. that said, it does look and feel like panic. the last one was the same. Eventually it will settle. I just feel sorry for the sensible non panic users who will suffer. still feel a key workers scheme should be set up to avoid this. Imagine, sorry your op is cancelled, seemed someone brimmed there car this am and the nurse behind could not come in… and that someone was you.
