MIB2.5 Firmware update Software 1163
You extract (prefer 7zip over winzip as the latter can cause a checksum error) to the stick/card and then leave it plugged in. It breaks down the file into loads of chunks and sets lots of bookmarks/savepoints so when you drive short journeys and it doesn’t finish a segment it doesn’t need to start again, just picks up from where it last saved. Just keep checking your system page and eventually the navigation database number will update.

MIB2.5 Firmware update Software 1163
That’s for Satnav maps only.

P2459 code
Tbh - if you’re keeping the car for any sort of time, I’d look at an OBD11 or something like that. Should give you much more info and isn’t much cost I don’t think.

Replacement discs and pads
Jeez - how did I not spot that! That’ll teach me to type while doing something else at the same time 🤦🏻♂️

Bouncy and Unsettling ride
One of my DCC Monroe shocks started weeping oil at 28k. Took it as an opportunity to replace everything for a Bilstein coilover setup and should last for years now.

P2459 code
In answer to your previous question, any VAG specialist would have better diagnostics but there are plenty which should give you more of an answer than a broad spectrum fault code. What was the software/tool that gave you this code btw?

Replacement discs and pads
You have 312mm vented discs on the front and 300mm solid discs on the back. All Superbs are the same except for the 280bhp versions which have 320 front, 310 rear.

Replacement discs and pads
Depends if you want an improvement in performance or not (and commensurate increase in price). One thing I will say is that ceramic pads are brilliant for low dust. I had some ATE Ceramic and it was night and day how little I had to clean the wheels. There was feedback that they were more aggressive on the discs (ceramic is harder than steel so that would make sense) but I ran them for only a year; maybe I didn’t run them for long enough or maybe the discs the person had used were soft.

Looking for latest RW MOI3 version
I saw something about checksum mismatches on Maps. This can happen when using winzip to decompress a file, but not if using 7zip. So if you have the download and didn't use 7zip, give that a go just in case? Ultimately, there is no noticeable difference that I've witnessed between 324, 330 and 332 so there's no massive issue if it can't be found just yet.

Led/xenon bulbs
Well that looks to be UK legal per se - it states E13. E meaning EU certification; 13 referring to the country it was certified in, in this case Luxembourg. Unless they’re BSing, then they’re road legal bulbs for UK. But it still potentially falls down on the MOT replacement issue. I still maintain the MOT guidelines are weirdly interpreted by saying placing LED bulbs in Halogen (and by extension, HID) headlight units is not allowed. Anyone with an ounce of sense would acknowledge the world of difference between Halogen and HID units. Unless I’m missing something, that bit is cretinous.

Bouncy and Unsettling ride
Its not clear who non-DCC definitely are made by, but it does look like Monroe are only associated with DCC. Non-DCC is much better for aftermarket options - that is to say they exceed the performance of the standard ones.

LPFP Upgrades
Is it worth looking at ea888.4 injectors? I’m sure the golf 8 r guys run big numbers on standard fuelling

OTA updates
It hasn’t been reported as such as far as I’m aware.

Bouncy and Unsettling ride
Noise will be a bush - could be a bush in the lower control arms or the mounting bushes on the front anti-roll bars. Do you have DCC? If so, then this is perfectly characteristic of normal and comfort. Sport will be better. There are a number of replacement items that you can put on, be it Bilstein, Koni, KW et al.

having a nightmare with car codes and charging
Googled “VAG specialist Edinburgh” and found a few - auto-technical refers to being VAG specialist but you could always phone and ask them if they can update the online service history. Also, ask them what they do when they service a haldex - if they say they change the oil and update the service history, then I would move away. If they say they clean out the gauze on the end of the pump then they’re more likely to know their stuff.

having a nightmare with car codes and charging
Yes I would be more inclined to look for a VAG specialist. Have a look on here - there are forums for good and bad garages in areas. It would definitely be worth driving a bit more. For example, when you take it there make sure (or phone and ask in advance to save you the trouble) that they know that if they change the battery they code it in. If they don’t know, or say it doesn’t matter, walk away.

having a nightmare with car codes and charging
It’s natural to feel like that but once it’s sorted you’ll feel fine again. They are great cars but yours has had a fair old life already so it’s bound to have some aches and pains.

Led/xenon bulbs
This came up not too long ago - the MOT guidance has been updated to check for led bulbs in halogen headlight units (in the same way Xenons in halogens are a no-no), but replacing existing Xenon setups with LED bulbs aren’t an issue. The headlight unit has the lens and directionality not to dazzle. But…as Danoid said, they should also be E-marked and none are so unless they came from the factory, that’s not allowed in UK. However, the chances of an MOT tester pulling bulbs and checking is practically non-existent.

advice needed on gearbox
As mentioned on proper post (and here for completeness) - test (or change) battery first. Pretty sure that’s not linked to the gearbox issue though so divide and conquer the problems.

having a nightmare with car codes and charging
Electrical gremlins are most likely battery issue as first easy point. Best is to get a battery tester on it but especially where there seems to be battery involved that’s where the lowest odds would be

OTA updates
Nothing massively evident between 324-330-332 in my experience. For no hassle it’s never a bad thing having the latest firmware anyway though.

Mclaren Super-Lightweight Wheels 19" - fit most Skodas
Gorgeous but something to be aware of - the tyre size is different to standard Superb: Factory 19x8 is 235/40/19. At 235/35/19, the diameter reduces by 24mm and circumference by 75mm (which is 3.7%). According to Willtheyfit this means 30mph reads 31.1mph on the speedo and 60 reads as 62.2mph on the speedo. There's also a ride height and arch gap loss of 12mm and the wheels will move out from the strut by 11.5mm.
- HVAC issue. Face level vents on 2016 Superb III not passing air. Maybe malfunctioning flap motor.

Knocking noise/rattle from DCC - Sportline 2.0 Petrol
Tbh I’d return it. You don’t know whether it’s an annoyance or something more fundamental. You don’t know whether this noise will lead to something else but at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what you do or don’t know. You didn’t pay money that makes a funny sound, you don’t want a car that does. Looks like Skoda UK are trying to get in front of it or tick down the clock. Pretty sure I’d read KYB did VW and Audi, Monroe did Seat and Skoda.
