I know various companies use 'Obsessive' in their titles, so they are taken, but there is a reason it's popular. It does what it says on the tin. So how about using a contraction of the word. Quite a trendy use of words is to knock a vowel out or off the word, this allows you to create a short website domain name as the word us in effect made up. Also allows good branding. So- OBSESSIV Car Detailing Looks good to me, but what about the masses?

Extra points and fine for using a mobile while driving.

2 most important senses when driving are sight & hearing.Headphones reduce external hearing to almost zero, compared to in car audio which still allows you to hear external noises above the sound (unless your a boomboomboxboy) -

About bloody time!! Fed up with seeing cars slowly drifting across a lane then suddenly twitching back. Heads of drivers looking up and down towards their seats. & lost count of the times I follow a car with a phone wedged near their ear, & they put it down when slowing down near a busy junction, then put it back once they clear it. Grrrrrr!!!!! Get a bloody hands free kit, they're so cheap now! -
Its an opinion A trading name is SO important. Any connotations that are not positive and are easily linked or perceived to the name should really be avoided. Its great that the name sounds like you are 'going through with a fine tooth comb', but not great that it's easily sounds like a company that cleans up after a messy crime scene.

Just one word on CSI Detailing. Sounded great when I first read it, kind of trips off the tongue nicely. Then I thought, are these guys who you take a car to after a nasty bloodbath has occurred......

DTUK tuning boxes and/or remap economy - the truth?
999pooch replied to Jono's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Yep, just to qualify, I'm referring to the EA888 2.0 engine.always frustrates me seeing a screenshot of 68.9mpg over 30miles. Great, show me 3000 miles! -

300ps on a VAG engine = 28mpgYou can get more, possibly 50mpg hypermiling on a straight motorway. What's the point? I've had 3 very different cars with this engine, & all performed between 25-35mpg over the lifetime of the car -
Maybe I'll give it a wide berth.Although images of me sat in the living room with naff all on after a heavy session on Saturday night being received by some Chinese official in a darkened room makes me chuckle. I've also been looking at this one - http://www.vesternet.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Foscam+r4 Great specs, not been released very long so not got many reviews yet. Only downside for me is that it with it being so new it hasn't yet been supported by Synology, so can't integrate fully with my NAS. Hopefully not too long though

Most people with smart phones already have this feature - Siri, Cortana, Google Now etc.... When the voice activation command is on, i.e., 'Hey Siri, and the equivalent for the other OS's, it does exactly the same as the Echo. So just a big box sat in the corner if the room waiting for someone visiting to say 'what's that?' And for the home owner to reply 'oh! Let me show you'. Followed by 30mins of turning lights on and off!!

That's interesting as I was mulling over a Hikvision camera. They have very good reviews for the actual quality of the footage and functionality. What were the complaints for? Hack ability?

ACC losing 'lock'?
999pooch replied to FelisBengalensis's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Had 2 VAG cars over 2 years & 20k, never had this problem. Occasionally if the 'object' car drifts slightly over to the left and you have a slight right hand steer it can loose lock, but assumes you are overtaking / manoeuvring around the object. Sounds more like a fault or may need re- calibrating. -
I think the following matrix is what you're after - Photo copied from another site. To check this is up to date info I would asked VWFS for their latest charge matrix.

Can you quickly quote-2 years 0 excess 3 or 6 claims 1 panel, 20cm Briskoda member

David, What is the typical cost of your scratch @ dent policy? What are the benefits & when can it be purchased in relation to a new car?
-
Just had mine delivered from VWFS I'm sure if you google, an online version is easily found
-
My preference is PCH, as the overall costs tend to be lower, just make sure you're happy to financially commit to the full term of the lease regardless of your situation changing

I know exactly who BCA are!!I'm not sure you know that they are much more than just an auction house. They have many arms to their business. One being BCA logistics. They pick up, deliver, deal & trade with many businesses. I had a long talk with the guy who picked up my car, & he was very sure my car wasn't going to Auction.
