  1. apart from reading codes and putting out service lights, can this device also activate things like the corner fogs and other extras like that.
  2. I would just stick with car you have unless you have money to waste, the mazda is a good car as it's based on the mondeo and know people who have the same car and like it alot.
  3. I use the seal protectors for my kids seat too, it even has the cut outs for the isofix.
  4. door seal's are a very common problem on the octavia's. if i leave my car for a while and it rains when i open the doors water pours out from the bottom of the doors and you can see the top of the seal thats on the car just above the sill is wet right over the top. I don't know why the doors don't drain when they are closed, but im getting worried that it could be starting to rust the floor pan.
  5. just move ur feet faster lol. if i even thought about driving that way i would crash.
  6. bosal make high quality tow bars, but its the fitters i would be more concerned about. i worked in the motor spares for 9 years and heard alot of bad stories about badly fitted tow bars.
  7. What can you say about an offer like that. you sir are a very nice person indeed.
  8. according to autoexpress the first one on the left is to sit between the fabia and the octavia, as the new octavia is going to be bigger (when it comes). the second dont know but looks ok. but i do like the face lift yeti though, it looks mean.
  9. since you were looking in the mirrors so much did you lick ur finger and thumb the then rub over ur eyebrows then mouth tiger in the mirror while you were looking so much
  10. Lets see if skoda gets all the auto express awards next year, I dont think so as im sure they they are a member on here. and with some of the complaints on here im not so sure.
  11. The green rs was a good seller of the colours available and the second hand market to. the car sales man i though says he will sell a green one before the other colours.
  12. one of the vans at my work says theres somthing there after rain or washing, but this was caused by a fellow worker blasted the sensors with the big karcher hot water power washer, once the faulty one has dried its fine.
  13. Think if i buy another vrs i will be sticking with the big stick to change gears. the cost to me is not is to dear, quotes for repairs upto 6k. then the terms (faster/quicker) is getting used in a way like the 0/60 times are 2seconds apart, not tenths of seconds or half a car. but at the end of the day its each to there own on what they like and want from a car.
  14. Can somebody please clear somthing up for me. As people have said on this topic, on paper the manual is a bit quicker over the dsg, but people are saying the dsg is quicker. The bit i dont get is why would skoda say the manual is faster if this is not true, as saying the opposite could get them more sales for the dsg. Plus using the word faster is a bit much as we are talking about tenths of seconds.
  15. just looked at the seats on google images, if you can get them go for it they look well nice and would do it myself if i could afford them.
  16. £10 per led bulb that is a joke and a rip off. But they do look good against the xenons.
  17. if you told me about them then i would say no, but now i have seen them i think there ok and suit the dark colour car.
  18. blind spots on all motors and no i did not miss any point, If there is no blind spots why is there now cars with blind spot warning systems on them.
  19. god this just about got is bad as the petrol/diesel is best topic a while back. and as for not doing the life saver look (looking over the shoulder) scares me to hear a person say that on here, and then to say they have IAM, i to have a class 1 but dont use it but when you learn you a drilled to always check all blind spots.
  20. front tyres 30k and the rears still going strong
  21. I would never put my kid in a recaro seat, they dont get that good a review un like the car seats they make. my isofix seat also has the seat belt hold the base down for the event of a roll over, so theres no chance of a sideways movement.
