Octavia mk2 1z estate interior carpet
According to THIS parts diagram it appears the cabin carpets are the same but the boot carpets are different - much as one would expect.

Glow plug system light, failed fuel injector and no confidence in my 2010 Octavia
Octavia mk2s are very particular about battery voltage/condition and interconnection quality. I suspect (based on my control systems background) that there would have been software changes made to later Octys to build in some resilience for power supply fluctuations but for this generation the cars are very sensitive to poor battery or intermittencies. What this may mean for you is that your intermittent fault states may be down to ageing connections between elements of your car's control systems. First step (I suggest) is to check that the relevant fuses and control modules are cleanly connected and there is no wiring damage or breaks. If it helps I have the Octy2 wiring diagrams from Mr Haynes manual. There are a number of forum members whose detailed experience far outweighs mine and hopefully one or more of them will step in.

Reupholster car seats
You might do better to look at breakers and just swap the seat/s over.

Sensor noise with no sensors?
Check the bulb in your reversing light; it may be one with a built-in sounder. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjv1faS3vf8AhWQP8AKHZr-DlkQFnoECBIQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2FUniversal-Automotive-Reverse-Beeper-Buzzer%2Fdp%2FB07518KM1M&usg=AOvVaw3Axjgiujq36SRJJusiJtfH

There was someone on here doing this a little while back. I suggest a search through postings on the mk1 and projects fora to see what you can find.

EV Charging - Does an EV charger know the identity of the vehicle that is being charged?
Found this rather disturbing post on YouTube entiled "72 chargers and only 1 works" regarding a dearth of viable EV charge points in Ruislip. What's even more enlightening are the detailed comments that have been added ...

2007 Octavia Mk2 Estate 4x4 140PD BMM (Colour: Black Magic)
Have a search on fleabay with the part number and you can see what one would look like. Note that the left and right hand parts are different and come in black or ivory. Take a look at the parts catalogue link to see what I mean.

2007 Octavia Mk2 Estate 4x4 140PD BMM (Colour: Black Magic)
I believe you are looking for one of THESE - 1K0971981A, which appears to be common to most (if not all) the VW ranges for that era.

Fuel filler Octavia estate
We've had four Octy 2 estates in the family and every one has had the same problem. We get around it by inverting the filler nozzle, and as long as it's inserted into the filler neck there are no problems with blowback.

Damp boot and leaking boot lid
I was wondering if you had water in the wheel well that could evaporate when the car was parked somewhere warm and would then conbdense on the rear window and run down and into the bodywork. It may sound a bit fanciful but it does happen. A good clue would be if your rear window especially gets fogged up when the car is left.

Damp boot and leaking boot lid
Three initial questions: 1. Have you checked the spare wheel well for water? 2. Have you checked the bungs at the bottom of the well for seal? 3. Do you park your car in sunlight or a heated area between uses?

Rear shock absorber bolts
If it's the bolt I think you mean (attaches top plate to car body) they're M10x35. Parts diagram HERE.

Starter motor compatibility
The parts catalogue pages for Mk1 Octy '07 starters are HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. There are quite a number of different configutaions listed so some careful reading may be required! Before getting too deep into research, are you sure the electrical route to your starter is OK? There will be a fuse or fuses plus a starter relay. Take a look at the fuse diagrams in your owner's manual, or if you haven't got one to hand do a quick Google[tm] for "Octavia owner's handbook skoda" and look for the Skoda download site.

Hi all
As far as I know (without going through every option/year parts catalogues) the FL mk2 headlamps are the same for all Fabias for all halogen lamps. This link takes you to the parts catalogue pages for a 2011 mk2 but without knowing more about your option codes I can't point you to anything more specific. Good luck!

Juddering issue, mk2 Vrs
If you have both bought fuel from the same place I would suspect contamination - probably water.
-
Bonnet catch sensor
Just a thought in case: an alarm with failing backup batteries (the usual mode of failure) may trigger randomly and also be affected by ambient temperature. A quick scan of codes should include/exclude this as an issue.
