  1. Thanks for the help, gents. Seems they were fitted to Audi A4/A5 around 2015, although I can only find the 19" version on the parts catalogue.
  2. Came with a 2008 Octavia 2 we picked up for our daughter but not originals. Not sure if the VW hub badge is original or not. I've hunted through the parts catalogues and so far drawn a blank.
  3. These guys looked interesting. Don't know if they'll have what you want but they seem to offer a lot! https://hcl-clamping.co.uk/pages/hose-clamps
  4. You might also take a look at aliexpress for clamps; usually mucho cheaper as long as you don't need them tomorrow - https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20220904091700&SearchText=spring+band+clamp&spm=a2g0o.home.1000002.0
  5. As you will discover when you explore the link to the parts catalogue, all the hose clamps are listed together complete with their sizes - exactly what you need, I think. The coolant cooling system parts diagram and catalogue for a post 2009-08 CEGA engine is HERE, and I believe from what you say this is your motor. The link will take you straight to the list of hose clamps, giving part numbers, quantities and sizes. I do encourage you to visually check against your motor and the diagram just in case there are any minor differences.
  6. You can locate and determine the relevant part numbers yourself by using one of the online catalogues - THIS is one example for a 2.0 litre BMM tdi engine, which may be the one in your car. Having obtained a list of part numbers you can web search for offers and several sites will include measurements against their descriptions, or will offer an equivalent part but in another material such as stainless.
  7. After more than a couple of hours hunting through the parts catalogue I cannot identify these. I'll see if I can locate any part number on the ones in my car tomorrow.
  8. These ones? https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2007-419/8/827-827020/#22
  9. I don't believe 18s were a standard fit on the normal Octys (i.e. not the VRS) and the filler cap flap guide on this (and our others) only goes up to 17s. These wheels are VW (according to the hub centre cap) and whilst I tried some intensive Googling[tm] I couldn't find a definitive answer. I'll take a piccy of one of the wheels and upload it to the wheels forum to see if anyone can identify it. Standard running pressures for the smaller wheels are 2.2 bar front, 2.1 rear so it looks like I should raise these slightly as you suggest to 2.4 and 2.3. Were the car mine I would keep an eye on tyre wear and tune the pressures accordingly but it's going to the daughter & SIL who aren't as organised as I am Many thanks for the advice. I'll add myself to a long list of Briskys who have been grateful for your help.
  10. The black Octy we picked up from Woking (thanks again Tony) has had a set of 18" VW wheels added at some time in its past. It has 225/40 18 ZR tyres and I'd like to know what are the correct pressures if anyone can help? With 17" wheels on my Scout it's 2.2/2/1 for normal running.
  11. I get the same problem here on my desktop and IIRC that function has never produced a result.
  12. You wouldn't happen to have a luggage cover in there somewhere would you?
  13. FYI some specs available HERE on autodoc's site ...
  14. Aliexpress £218.55, plus whatever the import duty is if Customs tag the shipment. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000692038361.html Also available from skoda-parts.com for Eu453 https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5k0953569al-electronic-module-20903.html And used on fleabay but check you are looking at the 'E' variant. NB skoda-parts.com quote the same part as fitting both the Yeti and the Octavia 2 so maybe looking for a used Octy 2 part would be better & cheaper.
  15. Article on RAC news today suggesting: "the Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has discussed potentially introducing a 20mph speed limit for cyclists." Plus: " Shapps vowed to introduce a ‘Death by Dangerous Cycling’ law after several major incidents that meant that the guilty cyclist received a much shorter sentence in comparison to someone behind the wheel of a car" "there have also been discussions about introducing number plates and insurance for cyclists under plans for the new law. As a result, cyclists could receive licence penalty points and fines for breaking speed limits, running red lights, and other illegal manoeuvres." IMO well overdue for the minority who abuse the roads, but I'm sure it will be controversial! Full article HERE.
  16. According to the parts catalogue for a 2012 Yeti CFJA HERE the sump plug is as below:
  17. If you look up the parts on skoda.7zap.com you can click on the link and it will tell you who makes them. I'd normally research you a link but I'm working on.my phone and it's a bit challenging with my eyes ...
  18. I looked up the part number from a 2013 Octy luggage net on skota-parts.com and got this piccy, which looks to have the aforementioned clips: Link is HERE FYI.
  19. Parts diagram for a 2011 Octavia luggage accessories is HERE. There was apparently no new model version for the 2012 year as the listings go from 2011 straight to 2013.
  20. Take a look at one of the online parcel brokers - I use www.parcel2go.com. They're usually pretty reasonable for carriage.
  21. No, it was just a chance car that was available via a friend when my sister expressed her need for one.
  22. You're welcome. Wish we'd met a couple of weeks back; I've been organising a Clio to go to my sister in the Scots highlands and I could have picked your brain
  23. They're Lyra (1Z0601025P) wheels, centre cap 6U0601151L. Stickers are (I believe) 56mm and there's a set on fleabay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165307984322 If you don't mind waiting a bit longer there are many options on aliexpress for much less cost; this seller includes green & black stickers and replacement hub inserts if required: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004578485597.html
  24. Is this your wheel? If so it's an Apollon 1Z0 601 025 H, and the hub cap/centre cover is 6U0601151L. These wheels were also fitted to Roomster, Citigo, Superb, Octavia, Fabia, Yeti & Felicia so finding the centre caps themselves is possible. There are aftermarket stickers available but I'll have to check the diameter on my wife's car ('07 Octy) before I can tell you what size you need (or you could measure yours )
