  1. Are you sure those early Audi Automatics with issues were a s-tronic / dsg, Twin clutch gearbox. They were Multitronics. CVT,s.
  2. ^^^ That is Speedometers. As required by legislation. They can not under read. It is distance that matters as far as fuel, and that is not 3-5 % wrong with the OEM tyres, new or worn is it. But really as it is Average MPG is not that accurate or exact anyway.
  3. Use an app on your phone / gps and compare to the cars milometer and how far the car says you have travelled. (yes i know about ups and downs, elevation change.) As it is if you reset the Miles travelled, and compare with the miles showing on the cars total miles it can be a difference of tenths of miles that they show.
  4. ^^^ Thanks. Again just the sort of nonsense that comes up for Service Intervals. This Green Fixed Service Regime chart is inaccurate, eg, Cam belt / DSG but it is what came about from 2019 when Skoda UK changed the Minor / Interim & Major time about, and the Extras cost Extra.
  5. Which Tuner with the best of reputations is near to you? It is nice to talk, go see them.
  6. Is there a setting in the system for an oil setting of oil quality low? Not just a Fixed Oil Service Regime which suits Non Long Life Oil, as in to VW502 00. That is not a Low Quality oil.
  7. Very nice. Google images keyword search. Royal Green. A very in colour. Nothing about UK Royals really, maybe similar to a Land Rover colour, if not metallic. Or military uniforms if a fabric. Paint, wallpaper, Whisky, Tea Infusion 'Royal Green' products etc.
  8. Not unless you ask to have the car on Fixed Service Intervals when you were going to collect it? The cars leave the factory on Variable / Flexible servicing, so 18,000 -20,000 miles / 24 months. If changed to Fixed Servicing 9,400 miles / 372 days at the PDI then maybe because the Dealership does it without permission, or the Owners / Driver / Fleet want that or the Lease / Service plan requires it. The car if reset should not be showing Oil Services and Inspections at different times. 24 months from the PDI, or hand over. They mess things about.
  9. @Yogev What do you mean the first service is supposed to be just an Oil Change? Do you mean an Oil & Filter service within 9,400 miles / 15,000 km , 12 months? They are actually called Oil & Inspection Services. Or if called 'just an Oil Service' i hope they are doing an inspection and plugging in the car, checking for faults or any Software Updates required. Checking a new car as 12 months past someone should be, & do a paint inspection for that warranty. ?? In Israel do the new cars come set on the Fixed Service regime rather than the Variable / Flexible @ 18,000 -20,000 miles / 24 months. That service is more than an Oil & filter change.
  10. So on Variable Servicing, 18,000 - 20,000 miles, 24 months, and getting that done? Is it one DSG Service done, @ 80,000 miles, or has it had more than one? Is there no paperwork showing the Oil Part number, maybe showing if it is 0w 20 FS IV they used. Best get it into the Techs and see what is the issue.
  11. @X27 Welcome. What is the cars mileage / km covered now, and is it oil changes every 9,400 miles / 12 months or are you doing more than that in a year? Is is VW508 00 / 509 00 0w 20 FS IV oil it got or is it running on VW 504 00 / 509 00, 0W 30 FS III or 5w 30 FS III ?
  12. The Scottish Government have dropped the planned ban on Wood Burning Stoves / heating in new homes. Renewable fuel, and needed by many in rural or not so rural locations. (I assume Bio-mass heating was / is OK as there are housing developments that have that and companies providing the bio-mass fuel, wood from trees...) The ban on Gas or Oil Burning heating / stoves in New builds goes ahead.
  13. They might well want it First registered and away this quarter / year, get the commission. Skoda / VW UK will decide though if they want that as they have 22% BEV,s to be first registered and the average co2 emission figures to meet. Out of the Dealers hands a bit really when the car crosses the channel, get to the dealers & PDI,ed and First Registered.
  14. @arovbukay This is their job 5 1/2 - 6 days a week. Ask whoever if accurate, and estimate or guess? Where are you, that can make a difference, then which dealership group? They might get dozens of deliveries a month.
  15. Clearance shelves today.
  16. A DQ381. Some are having issues. Maybe only 1 or 2% of the tens of thousands produced, but even then VW / Skoda know how many and should be open and honest if there are known issues. If they say a 80,000 mile Oil change service regime then why not put the warranty to 80,000 miles / 8 years on the DSG?
  17. Your Euro 5 1.2 TSI takes 5w 30 FS III or even 0w 30 FS III if you want for Fixed or Variable Servicing / Oil changes. The VW502 00 is the correct oil for Fixed Oil & Filter services and any producers might be quieter even than your Castrol, it really is just the viscosity it is, nothing special.
  18. @Fookster OT, but have you had the VAQ diff serviced on your car?
  19. @Sladkarq Is it an issue with your foot on the brake pedal, as in the car tries to move? Maybe the car likes a wee dance to the music.
  20. You really are not looking. The issue is global, hence those businesses specialising in MCU repairs, diagnostics etc. They are failing long before any Oil & Filter change at 80,000 miles. Is the guy servicing them at a VW Group main dealership or an Independent or Automatic Specialist. People do come to forums and social media with faults an maybe very small percentages of the product. The DQ381 issues are going to be geater than the DQ200 ones ever were, Great if there are only very few, or they happen within the manufactures warranty, but they are happening to those with 3-7 year old cars now, and under 80,000 miles. Not all are getting a new filter when they are serviced, but that is not the same as a bad MCU, fundamental, design, manufacturing or materials.
  21. What engine, & how many miles? A 2.0 TSI or TDI, so a DQ381 7 Speed Wet Clutch, now common issues / faults reported lots & growing. Or is it a DQ200 DSG 7 speed Twin dry clutch DSG?
  22. @cri1410sti thanks, have you done it? No 2 cylinder running?
  23. We do not get motorways north or Perth so i would need to travel south to be doing that and as scarce as Traffic Police are i would be sure to be caught, not just caught out. @lol-lol never seen them have an issue if wearing a skirt / dress, maybe no nickers. By the way my local dog walking / dogging area has condoms left every morning now and people have stopped parking there now. Some EV charger hubs should really have condom machines & bins. These unlit areas which have very few customers are attracting all sorts in EV,s or alternative fuelled vehicles.
