  1. Welcome, If you think they did something wrong have them correct it. I take it this is a DQ200 DSG. ? How much did you pay the Dealer? If it was a Genuine Replacement part you have a 2 year parts and labour warranty so they need to do the job properly.
  2. @EnterName So? You are not stupid and if anyone watching something sponsored does think it might not be for the benefit of sponsors then they are beyond help. EDIT. Does anyone really with the common sense they were born with think a sponsored Youtube about EV,s is going to be Anti-Ev?
  3. Vorspung Durch Technik. VW Group did exactly that and went back for the future and have Steel Wheels with trims on fitted to EV,s. Simply clever. They even put tyres on them that i would not use to go Banger Racing.
  4. You best check. VAQ at 3 years / 30,000 miles. I can bump the thread. Newer ones now showing as being at 2 years.
  5. ? Do you have a VAQ diff, and if so has it been service twice by now?

@sarahkhanWelcome. Good thread revival. Wind from the North in a weeks time. There is a difference from the North of the UK to the South.
  8. Not good to over fill. Very true. I am not suggesting venting, yet i have done so for years when wanting Super Unleaded and going where there is not much. eg North Coast 500. Some people need to get travelling and will brim and go and especially if they have a small tank and a PHEV that really does not do very good economy once the battery is depleted. Real world. Not WLTP Kidology figures.
  9. The Tank might well be 41 litres but next time you are near empty or on reserve just see how much it takes with petrol up the pipe / brimmed a d not even venting the tank. A 45 litre Fabia tank can take 52 litres when not empty. You get to know these things over the year when buying and paying for your fuel and paying attention. PS. Same thing regardless of Tank Size, drive 400 miles without charging the battery and having brimmed it and see when brimming how many litres it used.
  10. @sussambNever rely or count on anything working, or take for granted, you just use your observations and skills. If ever you need the ABS it might not work or the tyres might still get no grip or traction so be ready to do your modulation braking. The Air bag might not deploy, especially those in VW Group vehicles but thats how things go. There were all those decades in the last century when there were no air bags.
  11. You do not rely on it, but if you happen to not spot something / someone there might be an alert. Amazing those that think they see everything and are in full control. Because they miss things they do not know they missed seeing something. All these that are never in an accident but cause them.
  12. The Tech @ApertureSthat replied to your last post / thread is probably the person that knows best what is what.

I think you are lucky getting the wheels and tyres changed 'Free gratis'. Nothing wrong with them as you got what you bought. As to the B0llocks on the Warranty, it is just that, THe wheel Tyre change is not invalidating the warranty. @Carlstonshould be able to tell you if that size being fitted are Type Approved. Look in the Owners Manual, what size to Skoda say are required if Snow Chains are fitted. What ever they are can be put on the car.
  17. @gm73will this be the 2nd time or the 3rd time the plugs have been replaced? How were they the previous times?

If you do not have one then maybe get a Certificate of Comformity for your car.

There might be in the 'Ask a Tech Section', this is the 'Technology Shed' or maybe you could just ask in the Fabia Mk4 section. What kind of things do you need to know about those things that Skoda do not publish? @Carlstoncan usually give you any info on wheels, tyres, suspension etc. Are you wanting to make changes to what you have? ? Did you sort out the noise issue from your tyres?
  20. If you are being told stuff by Service Desk Staff or even a Service Manager their name might be TOMMY. Deaf Dumb and Blind kids. Know nothing much about anything to do with vehicles, even Skoda,s Frightening as they are there 5 or 5 1/2 days a week telling guff to owners / customers. Get them to put in writing that there are no TPI,s & their name and job.
