There are those that said it has not messed the Haldex, just disable CC / ACC. That is fair enough. Others posted about the ABS / ESP issue with the Spare / Space Saver that came with the car and applying the brakes. Someone said the car was trying to kill them. But i think there were cars with AWD and the wrong space saver handed over to people. Those that have experience of them will know, & @Carlstonwill know which and what is what.

Someone that knows will help with the best to suit your car. I would not have a AWD / Haldex car with a Space Saver or Steel Spare that saves space that does not have an identical Circumference / Total Diameter. Near is fair enough on a FWD, as Skoda spares are. You are driving a long way on this trip and maybe on other trips. Is a like for like Tyre / Wheel possible? You might have to slow because a bit narrower, different tread and put on the front or back, but you do not get the issues some have had with their Haldex Equipped cars while trying to continue a journey with the Official Size SPACE SAVER.

Nothing in the manufacturers warranty or used warranty about not using the vehicle with the Software / Engine Management that it comes with, like launch control. There can be exclusions on Motorsport / Track / offroad course use etc. (But BMW and VW were stuffed there and had to wise up, they sell Ex Demonstrators from the Media Fleet that they take to the Track for journalists.) If modified from Factory approved software or hardware the Manufacturers Warranty can be void anyway on some components, / Drivetrain components.

? Can people not see that you are going to reverse? The car got Type Approval, the reversing lights meet the requirements. Or can you not see where you want to go when it is dark? If nobody there to annoy, put on your rear Fog light, that might help you see.

@HJH93Welcome. No need for the economy / fuel consumption to be shocking. Well serviced, plugs and a clean air filter, running E5 Super Unleaded and at NSL,s they can do over 50 mpg. Not hanging about between 35-45 mpg, and just about town, cold starts and short journeys 20-35 mpg. A stage 1 map will not harm economy if you drive the same speeds as you do without a remap, it might even reduce fuel use, but you seem to think the economy is shocking. ? How many MPG do you get, or how far can 45 litres take you? @lozza123When were the spark plugs replaced and the Air Filter looked at to wee if clean / fresh, or replaced?

Is there a light on the light switch though to tell you when you have turned on the Headlights & Sidelights?

Mileage really has nothing to do with anything with vehicles, if not driving they are outside parked unless garaged all the time. So they are in all seasons, sun, rain, wind, snow / ice etc. Then there are people with vehicles parked or driven in locations all over the place.

Maybe say which wheel size you have and what trim / engine your car has and someone can tell you the tyres size and load rating for your car. You will get tyres 19 years on that are perfect for your needs and the cars.

The Guidelines / Recommendations or even schedule is 3 years / 30,000 miles or sooner. See other threads on that even ones this week. That can be too long.

A couple of weeks is too long, unless you are not going anyplace. Even use a Tyre and Exhaust place to get it on a ramp, and maybe they will let you look while you tell them you think it might be an exhaust noise you are getting. Or get the wheels on a kerb and get under and have a look see. ?? When was the Haldex last serviced, OIl & Filter cleaned?

^^^ You said that not me. The Rain and Snow goes through the grill, but lands on the under tray and gets drained away to the side.

He has a Mk2 Fabia vRS and there is a bit under the drill that gets blocked up with snow, can turn to ice and when it thaws it drain away, not onto the ECU. Top a vRS, below not a vRS, but you can not see on these pictures really.

? When was the propshaft coupling inspected properly? If the original it could be in quite a state by now.

? Why was it booked in for a Coolant change? Was it not a Skoda Approved Used Car with a Warranty and Serviced to the Manufacturers Guidelines, Recommendations, Schedule or Specifications? With the history of that! Rigorous PRE SALE CHECKS, which is why a Premium is paid to buy an APPROVED Used Car. (Lost my flying pig again.) Was it burst and having issues hence the Coolant change, or did they burst it?

She got the ban on e-scooters and thinks she is on a roll making her place in history as having Paris Green as i read it. Not sure on how that works just charging people more to park as those that can afford just keep doing as they like.
