Servicing - Dealer costs & digital records
@ 2 years it is surely an Oil & Inspection service. But £305 for that and if the Pollen Filter is included is still ridiculous. Year 3 is the Extended Scope. Still not much extra there other than Brake fluid. The Tech / Fitter might not even look at the Air Filter until year 6. Crazy lazy and money for old rope. The cost of them doing a pollen or airfilter is ridiculous, parts prices.

New VED prices
@Stonekeeper It is a 2023 not 2013. ? Are we not back to the years 2-6 ,5 years of the extra for cars over £40,000 in 2023 ?

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
Targets are always missed by the government in Scotland and projects go over priced, and politicians get changed and replaced by ones just as inefficient. Winters with plenty snow for months are very few and far between now.

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
@EnterName Your 'nobody' is just another use of a word that is nonsense because there are people that 'Try to claim what the benefits will be if if the UK gets to Net Zero. Did you not ask AI? It must get its information from Places & People and stuff said or published. If there is nobody claiming things then there is no reason to challenge it. A somebody, not a nobody.

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
Climate Change is Global. The world is not repairing it's self. The changes might be quick in some regions and that is still part of patterns that will be seen long term. When land is lost and the land gained is because no longer under ice or because of the lava from volcanoes creating land below & above sea level that is just as has been happening for billions of years. The Ocean is the worlds life support system David Attenbourgh just said on the telly. 'It is surprising how quickly the oceans can repair them selves.' Now Deep Sea Mining is getting approvals and that is yet another consideration on what the future brings.

Locked out. Ways to gain access
Unbelievable that there is a Recall Action with other Skoda models for a software update to stop the keys from being locked in the cars. I wonder if the Elroq is release with the software in place from the factory so that the keys can not be locked in. The BMW / MINI App with the EV,s allows the opening and locking of the doors remotely turning on the lights and not just pre conditioning.

Clutch failure at 36K
No point paying for an Engineers Report via the AA then. Unbelievable that the drive wheels were not put on the Dolly and the car recovered.

Clutch failure at 36K
They have had some real beauts over the past decade. (spelling) No Engineering or mechanical knowledge, and no memories & must Hot Desk and clear data at the end of shifts. They take the pith. The last 5 Brand Directors / CEO,s are just as bad. Some even worked in the VW After Sales or Warranties. Muppets.

@robs87 Is there a named person from the Skoda / VW UK Executive team involved. A Resolution Manager or a Communications Officer and anything in writing from them? Is there a named person even from TTEC?

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
Believe it or not with 5w 40 FS (VW 502 00) not long life oil in 1.4 TSI Twinchargers the oil ran cooler and the temp dropped quicker than running 5w 30 FS III (long Life) VW504 00 / 507 00. That how things were and are. & the coolant was cooled quicker with Water Wetter. The Engine Running Super Unleaded with more of a detergent package (Sodium) did not suffer the same borewash issues when not running Long life oil with it'd detergents. Race fuels come without the extra unnecessary detergents not just higher octane. PS. ? What is using the different viscosity alternatelly achieving?

There are threads in the Yeti Section on upgrades, and a new member running very good threads / post on Offroading a Yeti. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/474351-all-terrains-on-a-yeti/page/2 All Yeti 4x4 / AWD do not have a Offroad Button. Neither do Octavia. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/532050-skodas-hill-decent -control-in-action

Land Rovers if that is 90 / 110 so Defenders did not have Diff Locks unless you fitted Air Lockers or Detroit Lockers. They did have Transfer Boxes. You can get a Mitsubishi, Toyota etc that has Locking Diffs & Transfer boxes, (Detachable Sway bars even) but do you need that for road use or tracks? Many run Rear Wheel Drive and then AWD is selected and then the Front Wheel Drive is operating, not Locked Diffs. Ope diffs. (On my Jimny,s i fitted Locking Diffs or Locking Front Hubs, like the early manual lock hubs on early Series Land Rovers. Maybe a Suzuki Vitara / SX4 or even a Swift / Ignis comes with All-Grip would suit you. But they come with different drive trains / AWD systems. A Subaru Estate might be just the job. My Shogun Auto Box. This one did not have Locking Diffs,

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
Mony a mickle maks a muckle. The small nations and population of the UK has been emitting more emissions than they should be for a long time and keep on importing in crap that requires others to be emitting emissions. Maybe it is a case for stopping or reducing where and when you can and some climate change deniers in the UK mumping and moaning are unlikely to have the Coal Fired Power Stations fired up and the coal mines reopened. As it is they are likely to be dead in the next 70 years so there are the next generations to do what they want.

& nickle from Indonesia. Also military equipment from nickle from Indonesia. That will be defence equipment, not the armour or planes / drones to be able to kill the Chinese, or Palastinians, Ukranians. All will be good though because once more rare earths have been mugged from the Ukraine the gas prices can drop to produce more electricity. Uranium from the Ukraine as well. Obviously for Nuclear weapons and reactors. Not for Iran though other than threatening Iran. & China, also India. & the USA,s best friend Russia. PS. The dude is speaking a couple of months back. The last Blast Furnace might close before the end of the year.

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
Well if you live another decade or 2 the stuff that was foreseen might just have happened. Maybe a bit behind the predictions but still in one life time. Yours! ? Where back in the 1960,s were they (who are 'they'?) predicting oil to run out in the next 10 years. Were they not aware of the new oil that was being discovered? ? Where were you at school in the 1970,s? A Grammar School was it?

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
I remember lots of scaremongering over Oil & Gas for the past 50 plus years. That was the Conservative & Unionist Party & Elected Members that were doing it. There was lots of lying going on from the 1960,s. There still is. 16 years ago. (& Bottom vid, damn leftie,)

EV real world range and cost to charge
The channel name has changed. Hardly rocket science that it is worth getting to chargers with a Porsche charge card tariff or even a TESLA charger for Tesla non Tesla charging if you grudge the 90 pence a kWh. Leave the charger for others rather than hogging it for hours when you have a car that can Ultra Fast charge someplace. IMO. As to a hotel charging 90 pence a kWh, they are not on a domestic tariff. They provide the facility thankfully. (How much is a soft drink or alcoholic drink there compared to buying it at the Super Market or a Local Corner shop?)

Man-Made Climate Change: The Need for Immediate Action
Some people seem to think they know what the people think. Trumpian! "People do not believe the climate narrative." "This is a fact." You make up your own FACTS. Surely some people do not believe. As for all the people all the time?
