  1. Plenty chargers about around where he is going, but @ 79 pence a kWh you are £7.90 to go maybe 35-40 miles.. Lovely when you are getting for 60 pence or under, then you are @ the £6.10 or so you would be for a gallon on petrol. Maybe more for the diesel that will maybe take you further for £6.50 or so a gallon.
  2. I did read it. Are anyone telling you their opinion actually Automatic Gearbox Technicians or Specialists? I am not, but my buddy is one of the very best. I would get the service done.
  3. I have mislaid the 2 sheets of the Approved Used Cars Check lists that i pinched from a post by @Gaz Maybe he can post them. Get the Copies for the car you are getting and check what gets ticked even though not done...
  4. If you tried claiming on an extended Warranty you bought and you had not Serviced the DQ400-e DSG of a 1.4 TSI PHEV they would say you voided the warranty. 40,000 miles. Dealerships do these Approved Used Cars with Warranties yet cars not Serviced to the Manufacturers Recommendations, Guidelines or Schedule / Specifictions. Chancers. Was the car on a Fixed Service Regime for Oil & Filters and done each 9,400 miles / 372 days?
  5. The Oil & Filter is scheduled for changes every 40,000 miles with a DQ250 DSG.
  6. The Hand Brake thing i was pointing out really is for Traffic Light Grand Prix / Hill Climbs / Drag sprints. ............ As to Rear Brake light, it is amazing how many with e-brakes & AUTOHOLD do not know or care that the Brake Lights are on when AUTOHOLD functioning. It was not always the case until recent models.

@Fernbobs What Engine & DSG does your Karoq have, and how many miles has it done? FWD or AWD? If it was a 1.5 TSI ACT & a DSG that needs and Oil & Filter change then just over £1,000 would be what getting that done costs. But if they do not need doing and those saying they do have not the knowledge / skills, tools, then avoid them.
  8. A hand brake used is how you sprint with a DQ200 DSG. Into S and the rpm rises. Hold it on the parking brake not the foot brake and released the parking brake and floor it. Faster acceleration or off the line than the foot brake to accelerator and delay.
  9. S-A gearbox. Semi automatic as VW designate it. Complicated is with an e-brake. But then Auto Hold is brilliant.
  10. The drive is disengaged with the brake pedal pressed. Do not use both pedals at once. PS. Does your car not have hill hold assist. Do you know what that is. It has a hand parking brake if not. Had the brakes been serviced. Havd you got discs or drums on the rear? Not all have Hill hold. 2 seconds hold to allow brake to accelerator.
  11. It is not an Automatic with a torque converter or even a wet clutch DSG so comparing is an issue. People like me like a 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG for the quick response. I have only driven 2 pedal cars of all dirt for near 50 years. A dq200 is as they are. Fitted to cars from 60 - 192ps. Petrol or diesel. Nippy take off in a 1.0 TSI. Light touch on accelerator required.
  12. Have you driven any other cars with a DQ200 DSG to compare how they are? Any other 1.0tsi with Dq200 DSG.
  13. Just out of interest, What Fabia is it, Engine / Gearbox & year?
  14. Just seen on the news that the doctor has received £4.5 million as a settlement. There must be Planet X Gravel bikes with Carbon Fiber forks out there.
  15. Is it pre heating you had set? Does that actually require the AC ? Is this preconditioning done without the car being plugged in charging? Just a failing battery then.
  16. These hit every branch of the ugly tree IMO.
  17. Are there any new problems or upgrades or questions to be asked about the discontinued Citiigo that can not be found if anyone does a search or goes back through the pages and looks? Goes to the Citogo Guide or Projects even? Maybe if in the other sections people looked before expecting others to answer about the same old same old there would be less replicated threads and more tumbleweed blowing through.
  18. Are you sure there is no Pedal Box fitted? Are you sure not remapped if you have not had it from new?
  19. Just resting maybe. & someone put the boot in.
  20. EDIT. Sorry, i missed what you were asking about. ^^^. Answered about SEPA, Doh., No idea about Perth / Scone, a waste of public money as far as i can see. Not unusual for Councils in Scotland. Pith up & Brewery disorganisation. or Arse & Elbow. ......................... Stirling. Could be all on holiday / leave or strike or who knows. I have never ever come here to charge be it day or even middle of the night without 1 white van parked in the bay next to the public charger. PS finished charging. Cheapest rapid I will get to use for the next couple of days.

Transport mode. That is for new vehicle delivery. Taken out of Transport mode at the PDI.
  22. SEPA must employ a number of disabled, or maybe there is an issue with the security if their vehicles, all EVs are parked in their large car park at the rear of the building. My suspicion is lazy bar stewards.
  23. Welcome. I flagged your post so a mod can move it to the Fabia Mk2 section.
