  2. So where was it serviced for CINCH or before they got it? I would do an Oil & Filter service. Trust nobody. Especially not them. The VW508 00 / 509 00 so 0w 20 FS IV is just more expensive, it is not scarce is it? and what VW Group starting using for the WPLT / Certification. Lower Emissions maybe. So if you want you could go 0w 30 FS III, or stick with oil changes with 5w 30 FS III, So the VW504 00 / 507 00 Do not go mixing specs, top up if needed with what is in from the Service. ?? What does the service history show as done so far? Even if aFull Main Dealer Service History, that can be a history showing what has not yet been done.
  3. No. High beam stays on and a sort of blanking out an area means that the other vehicles does not get the full beam shining on them. Same following a car. It is not Auto lights, auto dip.
  4. A Citigo only gets Fixed Service Intervals for Oil & Filter changes even if Long Life oil is used. VW504 00 /507 00. So 5w 30 FS III. That means each 9,400 miles / 372 days or sooner. Others might know why no Service Indicator message is showing.
  5. The brakes / ABS / ESP will be up to the job as much as the factory fit ECO tyres will be at gripping the road surface. They got passed for Type / Approval and will or should pass a UK brake test at a MOT. Not that that says much.
  6. They need the gear and more than ideas. Lets us know how much you are quoted please. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/507544-cam-belt-for-15-tsi-in-east-kent
  7. When there are bad ones or ones used at the wrong place you will know. I use mine almost all the time now. (Vauxhall not Skoda.) They can still blind cyclists and others. They might not flash you but they might curse you. Once you have them driving cars without seems like hard work....
  8. UK Owners are the Goose that keeps on laying the Golden Eggs for UK Main dealerships. They are not so keen to charge a reasonable price to do 1.5 TSI Timing Belts. Owners of them can expect a shock if having them replaced @ 5 years.
  9. 'Intelligent Headlights' are 'MATRIX' headlights, as far as i know, call them and have them. @automassYour car does not have MATRIX headlights doesit?
  10. To the left @Danbuoyshows a 2019 2.0 TDI, so it can not be a DQ200. (If a 1.6 TDI it could be.)
  11. @Car672 Is it this one? It is different from the Maxton ones i have seen in the past.
  12. Ask whoever at the Dealership, Dealer, Sales, Service Desk staff to ask the Master Tech if they do not know anything about the cars or servicing requirements. If it is a 7 speed wet Clutch DQ381 the Guideline / Recommendation / Schedule / Spec from VW / Skoda is @ 80,000 miles.
  13. The UK is 3 years paint. Corrosion as in a perforated (holed from behind / inside) panel is a different thing. A longer warranty that has no T&C's about annual, biannual, 3 yearly or periodic inspections. 12 Years Body Protection Warranty written down by Skoda UK seems to be getting rare. They used to clearly show that was what you got. Even though they tried their hardest to wiggle out of that. * Main Dealer Servicing includes, Body & Glass inspections according the Skoda Websites, menus, even though the Work Sheet might not and they might not be put on the system, but then Skoda know who the dealers are, the dealers know who the tech / fitters are that serviced the car.* Skoda UK Customer Services or the Contractor that does CS's keep saying claims invalid because not Inspections / Body inspection services were d SKODA_Warranty_Terms_November_2021.pdf
  14. it is if a 2020 2.0TSI. There is no throttle able.

  16. Be sure to have it done, and correctly. Service Managers are not Technicians or Mechanics. Sadly. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/501456-front-differential-to-gearbox-oil-leak Those buying used ones need to be aware that Full Main Dealer Service History might be a history of not serviced to a Schedule, Recommendations or Guidelines because Dealership staff do not know what those actually are.
  17. There is no LSD, but there is a VAQ diff. (needs oil changes at 3 years /30,000 miles or sooner.)
  18. @honeyrose Just out of interest, what miles has the car done and what did a 'full service' consist of and what did it cost you? Have they changed the oil and filter, a fuel filter, the air filter and the cabin filter and changed the spark plugs, maybe cleared / serviced the brakes? Checked the brake fluid or changed it, tested the antifreeze strength?
  19. ? What car was that? Thankfully these days for those that might do 20,000 miles a year or more that is not common.
  20. I suspect the REVO dude is blowing smoke. Is this an employee of REVO or of a company that is a Dealer for REVO products. Is he a mechanic or motor engineer,? So before the Remap was done and there was talk of needing any updates of Turbo or wastegate were the Spark Plugs checked or replaced? The Air filter renewed, basically a minor servicing done? ? What octane of petrol do you run. is it 98 ron or greater? These are the people that know their stuff. http://rtmgperformance.com
  21. Sorry no idea. But are all the tyres good and the pressures correct for the load carried and the weather/ temperature now?
  22. ? Are the VW Group who were once the biggest car manufacturer in the world and Skoda unaware of that? Strange they are turning out cars with just a pip squeek of an audible warning and have been for years now. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/489000-horn-is-embarrassing http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/491176-horn-replacement http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/466908-that-horn-again-replace-with-twin-horns http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/436335-horn http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/480254-horn
