  1. @Andrew2024 I had to re-read several times before seeing what car / engine it was you were asking about? A mod can maybe move your thread.
  2. @wantaskoda The point is not the range shown which is what the car thinks by how last driven and the ambient temp. If you actually go and drive will it only do 26 miles on battery or might it go further once you get some regening and the temperature is a bit higher?
  3. Welcome. So Spark Plugs & Air Filter Replaced. And if they want to make it a Full Service they can do the Air Con Service. How long a Warranty are you getting from them? Check out a Skoda Warranty and be sure it covers the DSG. Skoda Main Dealer Servicing was not much anyway. No servicing for the DQ200 DSG.
  4. Welcome. Best get that sorted under warranty.
  5. @TheUltraRunner Maybe you mean British people.
  6. @Paws4Thot The Contract that many Car Dealers in Scotland use is not worth the Paper it is written on, or has not been in the past. They referred to English Law for England and Wales, and i once made Arnold Clark pay me for an ordering error they made as in never ordering the car before they were discontinued and the new model introduced which i did not want, and they sat with my deposit. I refused to go with a New Model Purchase and i got the interest as well as my deposit back, and the interest at the rate they would have charged for finance.
  7. I think LOW is only 15*oC. If you asked for 17*oC inside and outside and inside the car if not parked in the sun was 5*oC then it needs to be putting heat into the interior. It is a Skoda / VW Group car, the heating and cooling systems THEY FIT (edit) seem to get worse as the years pass.
  8. VW 508 00 / 509 00 is 0w 20 FS IV. The 0w 30 FS III was to VW504 00 / 507 00 Fog Lights / Front Fog lights are for use in Fog to light up a short distance in front and not to stop you seeing with glare coming back at you. For others to see you, and the dipped headlight lights the way if used.
  9. Turn on the Sidelights or Sidelights and headlights.
  10. Welcome. 17*oC is not cold, not even cool, i have my home set to that just now. ? What was the ambient / outside temperature? It is trying to get the interior to the temperature asked for. Did you use a thermometer to see what the cars interior temperature was actually at?
  11. ^^^ If a Palestinian or a member of Hamas or maybe any enemy of Israel it might net be an idea to use these chargers & the payment system. Maybe not likely to be charging there but you never know, but it could be chargers anyplace using their Payment system. (The Emir of Kuwait was staying there with a very large entourage just a few weeks back.)
  12. Welcome. Sorry i know little about them other than they are pretty reliable. I think the 2013 one might have a timing chain while the 2014 has the cam belt which has revised advice / recommendations on the interval for replacing, No longer @ 5 years / 50,000 in the UK.
  13. Any idea what oil they did use? 5w 30 FS III hopefully. Not over tightened the Oil Filter hopefully and the correct one used. A Low Oil Pressure warning should show if so, but not guaranteed to. ???????? How many miles has it done and when were the spark plugs replaced? When was the Air filter replaced or did they check it? Manual or DSG? IF USING E10 95 ron fuel maybe get the tank filled with E5 Super Unleaded, 97 ron Sainsburys, or 99 ron Tesco, ESSO, GULF, BP etc or Shell if you must.
  14. Plenty available suitable All Season (winter certificated) tyres for the Size, & Speed / Load ratings.
  15. The worst new car headlight for blinding i have seen coming towards me are on Ford Explorer EV. They are set high on them and if they are coming down a road towards you they seem to be on full beam, Matrix lights i suppose. I am in a low MINI or BMW but it is not my eyeline that is the issue, likely the FORD,s. No idea if a Capri will be the same.
  16. @Gordon55 What job does the person you asked at the dealership have? They should have gone and asked someone that could be bothered. I did not think the 1.5 TSI,s or 1.5 TSI e-Techs were part of the recall, but it is for them to find out. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-campaigns
  17. The more i see the more i like. Flimsy (light) is ok with me as long as practical and does not break.
  18. If these import the car then they should have the answers. http://skoda.mu
  19. Service campaign '34h5' was a software update as a there was a Pressure / Heat issue and cracks, failures and leaks. Even now it can be a failure with the accumulator and a oil leak, or it might just be an issue with the MCU. You need to get the DSG checked out by someone that know DQ200,s. Look in the Spare Tyre well and see if there is a sticker showing the Service Campaign was done. It might not show here even if not done. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-campaigns The thing is, you are where you are now and need to find out what is wrong.
  20. Welcome. It could be the dsg, but you need to say what dsg you have. What engine has the car and does it have a 7 Speed Dry Clutch DSG, a DQ200 (is it a 1.6 TDI.) or a 6 speed wet clutch DSG, a DQ250. 2.0 TDI or TSI. The DQ200 has no servicing regime but a 2013 should maybe have had Service Campaign '34H5' sometime after 2017. A DQ250 needs serviced every 40,000 miles or sooner.
  21. 4 new chargers in car park at Trump Turnberry. ki
  22. @somean49 Post a picture of the wheels the centres are for. Do you have the originals centres so that you know what is needed, and know the wheels are the original to the car? Do you want the old style centres or the newer style?
