  1. What have I failed to understand? sorry but lost.
  2. Lack of rear wiper hasn’t been a problem so far on EV6 but it has a reversing camera.
  3. I mean if they’re making a RHD version then the Tesla s will be in trouble in both no RHD and price
  4. Great opportunity for other manufacturers. Tesla have essentially given up with their premium lines in sizeable markets. It is a choice but just means if the initial mid range EV works out, then Tesla won’t be under consideration for the replacement. They get away with plenty by calling features beta, which in itself is off putting. I would suggest that if CCS public chargers improves substantially then the last tesla benefit would be gone. It’d be nice if Tesla cars were banned or charged more for high power CCS charging tbh.
  5. Drill the end cap of it out, put some smooth dowel of the correct diameter in? You could fix the cracks at the base with careful application of epoxy. However I think you’re going to get neater results if you take the panel off and repair from behind. Potentially get a captive nut welded to the body behind there and you could screw in some threaded rod of the right size in and paint the end black?
  6. Please see Colin’s post above about the forum language being English. I will repeat the comment that posts need to be made in English and ask that you do. Threads which do not follow the forum guidelines risk being locked or removed without warning.
  7. Pinned this as a useful thread. If starting is hard, would heating the tip of the scalpel help to push through? If the light is out it’s probably east with d sad one cutting wire.
  8. According to a manual I found for 2013 superb, they list loads of bulbs but not a front indicator. suggest it’s an LED, so will require so soldering and electronics skills, plus being able to get the light apart. That or a replacement. There are specialist repair companies out there. Below is an example. https://autogamma.uk/repair-led-lamps/ No idea about the company , so make sure you do your own research 👍
  9. Duplicate of your other thread:
  10. One thread is plenty, please don’t start multiple threads on the same topic. 👍 discussion appears to have started and some answers here:
  11. One thread is sufficient…
  12. How many miles are on the car? If the front has worn springs and the back new it will feel weird. By worn I mean worn, as opposed to not brand new. If it’s a VRs, they did get VRs spring and the correct shorter bump stops?
  13. DSG oil change and filter clean/replace. it’s every 40k, so it’s up to you but if you want to hold on to it. If not at 180k.
  14. Is it a mk3 octavia on a 2013 plate or a very late mk2? if the mk3, you will need to get the water pump checked as there is a sleeve on it that can stick. Budget for a new water pump, cambelt/pulleys/tensioner etc as it’s all driven by that. Sadly not uncommon. possibly just checking a cold car and looking in the coolant bottle to make sure the silica bag in the coolant header bottle hasn’t split and blocked things up too.
  15. @billymac1970 Did the recode solve your issue or still having problems?
  16. Please post in English as per the forum guidelines. You’ll likely get more help this way too 👍

delivered with 58 miles on it… transporter to a compound about 50 miles away and the driven here. PDI wise, no idea sadly. I have to say there is zero new car yay feeling at all and I find myself thinking should I have bothered…
  18. Please don’t cross post in multiple forums. I will lock this thread and the discussion can carry on on your other thread with replies.

Well nothing useful back yet, looks like the dealer is giving the lease company the run around too. if it doesn’t improve quickly I’ll tell them to take it back. Slightly concerning on the low miles per kW as it’s mind bendingly quick even averaging 3+ m/kW. Is there anything I need to do or be aware of to make I’m covered on this?

Indeed they were my thoughts too. To get below 2 they must have absolutely hammered it.

Scratches, front reg plate on too low and there are rubs/damage to doorcard, glove box area and other trim pieces. possibly some damage to chrome trim and a black trim piece from cleaning chemicals they must have used. over full coolant loop, it all suggests there wasn’t a pdi done well. plus a small paint blemish that needs to be noted. Still the delivery driver got less than 2 miles/kW according to the onboard trip computer and kept saying how fast it was. To top it off they faked a signature and said the car was perfect. All reported shortly after delivery to the lease co. 😞
  22. Well we’ve had the ev6 delivered and it’s sat waiting for the dealer/lease company to decide what to do with the delivery damage. It’s quite funny getting people staring at it when they deliver the post etc though.
  23. I was thinking leased batteries, charged, maintained and swap facilities run by suitable companies. Instead of filling up with diesel on a fuel card, it’s a battery swap on an electric “fuel” agreement.
  24. Why recharge them on vehicle? Standard pack, do a swap if you have driving time left and otherwise replace them after your rest period.
