You do realise Bosch and Varta batteries are the same and made in the same factory don't you?

I'm guessing the extra 2ft is with the load bed tailgate down? Either way as others have said it's stupidly heavy and a stupid childish design. I'd be embarrassed to be associated with it in any way to be honest... Be that in relation to its design and engineering or just driving it.

Im pretty certain that may be part of the radio aerial and not the heating elements. We have similar on our Kodiaq

It may just be a case of resyncing the fobs. The instructions should be in the manual

If it's a projector light it probably has a single H7 bulb with a shutter in front of it that screens off the full beam when on dipped beam. Chances are you may be able to upgrade to a H7 hid burner like many did in mk2 Octavias

The wiper arm seal was the cause of a similar issue on my Kodiaq - took some tracing but the some windscreen sealant underneath the wiper arm seal and the glass sorted it.

I believe it should just pull upwards as it's on clips but not 100% certain

That striker plate is usually held in by two bolts / screws - one at either side of the pin - that are covered by the trim around the tailgate - you'll need to remove the trim to loosen them re-align it.

I started to notice mine about 70k miles but it wasn't bad until about 90k. Fine under normal driving but bad when loaded or on the motorway in top at about 2300 rpm.

They tend to fit whatever is cheapest for them in the right size. Do your own research and you'll probably be able to get a much better tyre than the original fitment ones

I'd guess rear propshaft coupling as well based on my experience with a Mk2 4x4 which was similar - what's the mileage on the car

Location location location @J.R.... By my reckoning we probably had more than 14 days in the last two years where I live or if not certainly in the last three years. And by 'proper winter' I'm counting unploughed roads with pukka lying snow... Not those light dustings that seem to bring havoc to those in the South East...

I had similar and water pooling on the rubber boot seal. From what I could tell the water was getting in between the rubber seal and the glass rather than the rubber seal and the wiper shaft. This was backed up by the fact that the hole in the glass could be felt just underneath but very close to the edge of the rubber seal. I managed to gently pry the rubber seal up slightly and work some windscreen sealant under it. No more leaks...

OE is welded but not like that... It's neatly brazed down the sides. As far as I can see from the photo the end of the plate the rod is welded to is bent which may be causing the problem.

How's your A/C? That sounds like a case of low refrigerant level to me.

From memory the non scout 4x4 suspension is the same as the scout - based on ours that had the rough road package. The only difference was is tyre size that gave a slightly higher ride height.

Yours must be newer MX5 than mine then .. the older models got a pukka sensor.

Probably more likely to be a sticking shroud in the water pump.
