It's not removing excessive slack. It's simply compensating for stretch. The slack is still being taken up by the tensioner

I managed to update the ottocast firmware after a bit of a battle but it made no difference at all. Its now sat back in the box waiting for me to decide what to do with it. In the meantime I've got an AA wireless2 that works flawlessly for the three phones that use it regularly.

From memory the rear fog light is a coding issue so should be an easy fix by anyone with vcds or similar with no need for physical changes.

They're redundant and part of the quality control process during manufacture. They are used when the car is tested for water leaks on the production line. Just tuck them out of the way and ignore them

A big inflection point for many people will be the situation at the time they choose to change their car alongside what the economics and cost to change are. Very few owners will change just because EVs suddenly become cheaper to run at a point in time due to changes in fuel or electricity costs. Sounds like an issue with the steering wheel... I believe some have capacitative sensors in the wheel to detect you are holding it and some have had issues.

Just be wary that the DSG in the Kodiaq can suffer issues (mechatronic etc.) which might also be prevalent in the Karoq? Personally I'd be looking at a manual.

Yes I did the same as you on a Fabia, spraying through the access for the pollen filter and the following day the A/C stopped because the sensor had failed

Also beware you don't damage the evap interior temperature sensor with the spray (been there done that on a Fabia)

Unbelievably the first guess by @Lee01 was spot on!! It's a 1.4 Qashqai automatic in gloss primer grey with dinky grey wheels. Reasonable inside but being a 74 plate it was binging and bongong all the time until two of us worked out how to turn it all off. After that it's been OK if rather jerky setting off from stationary. It'll do the job for a couple of days...

No thank god given we've just done a 3.5hr journey in it and have two more full days in it...
