  1. Mine are also blue from the factory. one has failed and is now black. I can not get the holder out though to change it, do they pull or twist and pull?
  2. I have never seen blade fuses with "S£ on them, does that signify slow blow per chance?
  3. I agree with the coil spring as being most likely, it could be a tiny piece right at teh top. However Just to throw it out there- a LI-on battery will explode with a sound like a gunshot if overcharged , is there a portable vehicle starting device in the glove box?
  4. who is that? a celebrity no doubt lol
  5. ap is a much more recent revision than ab.
  6. my front seats have been slow from day one, no heat at all can be sensed for 10 minutes minimum on the drivers side, the passenger one warms in about 6 and the rears are fantastic and fast. As it was like it from new i suspect a bad connection somewhere but have never found the time to look for it.
  7. 3T0 963555AF £99.95 PLUS VAT £120 Thank you
  8. might that enable talking to android assistant instead of saying ok google?
  9. broken and shorted wires in the drivers door gaiter , or bcm issue but my money is on the first

  11. there are just a couple of pieces of velcro apart from the boot water seal, unless someone fitted a dog guard and you have two ceiling sockets for it?
  12. I have never seen it and do not believe that it exists.
  13. the only tools you need for the DSG oil change that are not generic are- 1 filling tube to get the new oil in though some people have filled through the filter housing without it. 2 vcds or similar to check the oil temp. again some people have estimated. the cost of a pressurised oil filler will be recouped by not paying the dealers price and you have it for future changes. i was going to buy the cam belt timing tool but my mechanic insisted he didnt need it and he was right. ( I dont know his method sorry) I have seen a diy method that is interesting where you cut the old belt in half along its length, remove the outer half and slide the new one half on. then cut the second half of the old and fully engage the new.
  14. But mature to apologise and just as mature to accept it?
  15. Wow I bet you didnt mean for that to sound that rude?
  16. i thought the superb had an aerial amplifier (did i dream this?) for which the columbus supplied power, could it be a case of turning on a setting in the new unit to power the amp through the aerial input? un powered aerial amps actually block the signal so amping it after this blockage wont be very successful.
  17. I will look forward to seeing your results, cant have too many pictures of each stage if possible. connections etc I have often wanted to do this but put off by potentially losing mfd/steering buttons/ system displays / proper FM reception (hate dab) and the sound system integration. I will also wait for wireless android auto integration. does yours have that?
