Perhaps if everyone was made to ride 2 wheels for say 6 months as part of their driver training you might find a better overall understanding from both car and bike riders.

YES. Im not trying to convert anyone but anyone who has ridden a motorcyle on the road has seen both sides of the coin.

You cant beat experience- me i love to drive/ride and id welcome anything that makes me or anyone else a better/safer driver.

Perhaps you would but bikers in what seems to be the majority put them selfs at risk through dangerous overtaking and habitual speeding. If bikers sat in the line at traffic queues, they would find themselfs IMHO safer. And as Geoff says totally agree about the Born again biker. Limits for a new rider, no limits for a totally rusty rider.
