I think I've seen this before, and both driver and co-driver were OK - testimony to the strength of the shell and the cage.

Could be.

Although instead of changing his car into a 206, the Skoda driver appears to have transformed the Octavia into a new shape Vauxhall Astra :D

Looking at the picture, I think it is a case of strength of the cage rather than shell as everything seems to have cruppled around it. How did this happen, picture suggests not much around to hit, but looks as if car has somersaulted down a moutain side. Wiper blades look servicable!
