the new ladytron album - it's exceptionally good. some of nin's brutalism rubbed off during their time on tour and now their tunes have impact.

that and carina round's second last album (the disconnection) - nothing wakes you in the morning commute better than the second half of monument at full volume!

On the USB stick I've got quite a variety of my musical tastes over the years and can go from the Cockney Rejects via Embrace and end up with Bruce Springstein.

Latest albums from Coldplay, Zutons, Fratellis, Paul Weller and Kooks at the moment. I'm getting on with all of them very well :)

Steve

The best of Joy Division

This week: Bloc Party - Silent Alarm & Weekend in the City, Foo Fighters - In Your Honor, Stone Temple Pilots - Core, Therapy? - Infernal Love.

Next week will be a radio week I think, because on the Friday I'm off to Brunters for Don Palmer's "Creative Car Control" course and have planned my music for the trip down and back as follows:

  • Bugged Out! Classics, Disc 2
  • The Trentemøller Chronicles, Disc 2
  • Soulwax *breathe in* Most of the remixes we've made for other people over the years except for the one for Einstürzende Neubauten because we lost it and a few we didn't think sounded good enough or just didn't fit in length-wise, but including some that are hard to find because either people forgot about them or simply because they haven't been released yet, a few we really love, one we think is just ok, some we did for free, some we did for money, some for ourselves without permission and some for friends as swaps but never on time and always at our studio in Ghent, Disc 2
  • Bugged Out! Classics, Disc 3
  • Listen Again, Rob da Bank's Disc
  • Bugged Out! Classics, Disc 1

As you can possibly tell by now, I'm quite excited about it and have been planning stuff for it already! :o

i went to see funeral for a friend last night so i think they may be stuck in my player for a while along with some bullet for my valentine.

first albums though :D

bullet are awesome! S.A.F as loud as it can get i think.

bullet are awesome!

seen them at glasgows carling academy where the video for 'hearts burst into fire' was filmed, that was an amazing gig!

Easy listening is best in the car, reduces stress and 'overtake urge'.

I have 'Manuel and his music of the mountans' (Geoff Love in disguise), The Carpenters, Music from the coffee lands, Modern Talking (1st Album) and Chris Rea - On The Beach.

I've got a decent mix.

In the Changer is

Stop The Clocks - Oasis (both discs)

Counting Crows - August & Everything After

Anthrax - Return of the Killer As

Plus a couple of CDs with random stuff on them.

In the CD Head Unit is Boned by The Twelfth Man - feckin hilarious Australian cricket parody.

The Feeling - 12 Stops and home.

Phil Collins - The Hits :)

Ultrabeat - The Album

Various Artists - The Songs

A bit of a mix as you can see. Most of the time I just have the radio on though. Clyde 1 or West FM.
