It does look really good in fairness, ive parked my vrs next to it, and it looks a bit beefier than a mk1 VRS to me

Not convinced by the roof, but the rest of it looks good.

Although i do agree the spiders look a bit dated.

Just a shame the Mk2 Octy wheels dont fit straight on.

How will the buyers insure that? Will you be providing them with a list of modifications so they can declare them all ?

So, when the owner goes onto a car insurance website and tries to select the vehicle type from the drop-down list, what do they choose?

I personally think encouraging people to invalidate an insurance policy (i.e. have no insurance) is irresponsible.

It will be interesting as if they say it's a VRS they insurance will tell them it doesn't exist.

If they base it on the reg plate they will ask them the power 146bhp, which also wont exist as a model created. The reg plate will show it as a sport I guess.

So they will either have to declare mods or most likely be unable to get insurance.

Since they buy it as a `hRS`then they would need a list of modifications to the car for valid insurance or you would need to get it registered on the insurance database.

Can see any other way around it and anyone trying to claim it's standard is going to get one hell of a shock come claim time if they ever need to.

I think the point is this - will you be providing the buyer with a list of mods and explaining that it is a "modified car" when selling it?

All the mods are listed in the sale.

As Syd says, it's a sport model with upgrades fitted, yes some insurance companies won't touch it as it's modified, but the buyer knows it's a modified car.

Maybe a bit off topic but how much more does it generally cost to insure a modded motor?

Not too sure really, mine is about 100 quid more than i standard after i had it REVO'd
