Just to return the favour in West York's Police generally use Unmarked Volvo V70's on the motorways 1 Dark blue and 1 in silver.

Ive seen two unmarked new model Vauxhall Vectras same colour scheme again 1 dark blue and 1 silver.

If you're ever near the M62, M1 junction watch out for them as their based at Carrgate which is about 2 miles away so be careful.

They used to use an old red Vauxhall Omega estate but think theyve got rid nowa days.

I'm always very wary of the typical V70/Vectra cars, but hot hatches are going to be harder to spot.

seen bulue vrs, and silver and black st today out and about black st was sat with his camars as you come into middlesbrough on the a66 from darlington just as it goes back down to 50 go past visqueen, then theres a sharp bend to the right and mr st was sat on that bend with his car reversed back off the road with his gun out :/ jus thought id say crafty place.

the one you wanna be watching out for is the Light Brown/Goldy coloured Renualt Scenic.. seen it over on the A66 right next to teeside park all the lights going, pulled a Corsa..

owwh, they say 10% plus 2, another 1mph slower and you would of been alright, i couldnt see it with the sun shining off a wet road, where the camera was, wasnt about road safety it was just crafty, if it was about road safety it would of been further up the road not where the road changes from 30 to 60 :(

Saw an unmarked white Ford S-Max with black tints yesterday on A174. NX08 F**

It had pulled somebody near A19 junction.

Coming through Stockton town centre this morning around 09.15 saw Cleveland,s un-marked race blue octavia vRS (three up) with the blues & twos on , blue lights behind the grill / fog lamps & headlights flashing , think it was the driver training one .

I do a daily commute from Redcar to Peterlee and recently have noticed several white vans with "inccident support unit" written on the side. On average its not unusual to see 6 or 7 each day and a lot of the time they are lurking on bridges over the A19 or doing sweet FA in lay-bys reading the paper. Anyone know what these guys do/anything to be cautious round when spotted?

The vans - don't think so -think they're probably HA /VOSA .

The purge is a week long thing organised by TISPOL(some Euro traffic organisation) - according to one of our local freebies - ends Sunday 26th -least the one here is - and the paper said it was nationwide
