The Exeo is now on the spanish Seat configurator.

The sport version with a diesel 170CR with no options is 28,500 euros, that works out at just under 27 grand! ...

How much

Can't see it selling at that price in the UK. £20K list and yours for £17K maybe.

And those are probably "real prices", rather than Audi's "spec prices", which you add £5_000 to in order to get the sort of kit you'd actually expect on a car at that price! ;)

hmmm in a few years i may just consider one of these....

There's still scope for bumping the price up with extras though.

Alexandra Bridge Seat in Sunderland have invited me to their Exeo launch on Friday, anyone else going for a nose around the new Exeo this week?

I'm currently driving an 06 plate previous shape Audi A4 which the Exeo is based on so I'll be able to make a good comparison!

I will be going for a test drive at Frosts Seat in Shoreham once I am back from my business trip

Called in to Alexender Bridge Seat to look at the new Exeo today, they have a black SE in the showroom and a luna grey 143 Sport for test drives. Had a quick look around the SE first and erm, it's an Audi, everything is exactly the same inside bar the steering wheel, stereo and the round cabriolet vents.

Had a quick drive of the Sport and it's very very nice. Everyone always complains about the suspension in my Leon FR but I quite like it! The suspension on the Audi A4 SE I have access to feels very soft, the car rocks back and forth when coming to a stop plus the cornering is definitely on the wallowy side. The Exeo seems to be bang in the middle, sporty enough to throw around corners yet doesn't crash over imperfect roads.

The sport seems to have the same seats as my Leon FR and has smart piano black inserts on the dash and doors. Neither the SE or the Sport seems to have particularly attractive seat material, it's sort of dots

If any business users are interested I was quoted for a 143 Sport Saloon , £308.00 per month on a 25k non maintained 3+35 contract.

A bit expensive for a rebadged obsolete car even if the engines are VW's latest common rail units. If SEAT did a deal I could be interested but I prefer the Leon to be honest.

:rofl::rofl:

I didnt see the Audi rings at first glance

To be fair though its not a bad effort.

The old Daewoo Nexias and Esperos were 1980s Astras and Cavaliers

So what did you all think of the original Superb then ? God talk about jumping on a bandwagon.......

Hats of to VAG. They've kept a damn good car going by giving another member of the group a hand in entering a market segment they've never been in before.

I agree with the sentiment above; I think it's a good idea, does indeed give Seat a new market and is worth doing I reckon.

Steve

And no DSG until Christmas. Typical. Some of us don't have any choice thanks to the DVLA...!
