Well got back on Tuesday afternoon had a great week for my first Le Mans, Arrived last Tuesday afternoon to find the site near enough empty and it was lashing down and blowing a gale (just the right condtions for putting your tent up after being awake for about 40 hours) But the weather improved and the cars were awesome the corvettes were just audible sex!!!! great result for Lola Aston martin coming 4th

Defo going next year. (something big in the pipeline for mad friday next year hopefully) Hope you who went had a great time (maybe a Briskoda meet next year???)

I saw a 04 plate Fab VRS (camping near the showers) and Oct VRS on Bleu Nord couldn't see any Briski stickers tho.

Only distaster of the week was forgetting the amber light on the roof wasn't designed for 130 plus and it fell off on the way home :o.

For the trip for tho who were wondering following the camper there and back the computer read 59.9mpg, If i hadn't had a little play for a second on the way home would have been much better :(

Managed to get the Superb on the Porsche curves and Indionaplis after the race heres a coupe of pics..

Hope you were all supporting Aston as they seem to be sponsored by Skoda. Can you spot it??

They have always sounded fantastic - nice deep throaty rumble compared to the otehr cars higher pitched tone.

The most amazing noise from the cars though used to be the Rotary Engined Mazda's that, because of their much higher rev range had a really high pitched smooth wail. It had to be heard to be believed - especially in the wee small hours of the morning from inside a tent pitched about 30 yards from the track... You could always tell when they came round.

The Jager Bombardiers had a rocking time this year, with only three breakdowns, no speeding fines, one loss of keys (to a week old GT-R) and one hospitalisation it was a good trip.

I heard there was a race on or something as well?

Roll on next year

I certainly spotted the Skoda advertising on the side! Could it be that they were using a Skoda part on board?!!

I went - Boycarp - you flashed me, I was in my Fabia SE with stickers...
