Octavia RS+ Due mid 2009

I think the added bits of plastic would look far better if colour coded.

Black wheels - yuk

Black sidestrips - yuk

Black lip on front spoiler - yuk

Black bit of plastic on the rear valance (sorry refuse to call it a "diffuser") - yuk

Seats - yuk (they look like nice seats, but why RED?)

DSG box - hmmm maybe

Wonder what kind of exclusivity premium there'll be? :D

And the dolly bird needs a better costume too :P

I quite like it bar the side strips, mirror housings and the seats.

I agree there are too many colours going on but I don't like the shape of the seats much at all.

Might even look in white. Or all race blue with tan leather interior.

Like it myself

personally it looks chav'd up to me

red interior should be black, the exterior should be white and it should either have a proper rear diffuser or nothing

And the dolly bird needs a better costume too :P

And to smile, perhaps.

The black bits are too shiny for my liking, otherwise i don't think it is too bad, but agree with the comments on the red leather - not my cup of tea.

Found this on Vag-Drivers.ie

2009 Vrs Concept @ Essen Motor-Show

I thought the 2009 model would be the facelifted model !!! But no..

I Do Like:

Front Splitter

Alloys

I Don't Like:

Sprayed Fog Light Trim

Sprayed Door Trim

Interior (Clashes With Blue)

Rear Diffuser

Here are the pictures...What do you think?

Don't see the resemblence !!!!:o:O:O:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::D:D:D

looks pants , black rub strips just dont look right , rear end is ok

Threads merged.

It is a modell 2008 RS TDI with CR and DSG. Unfortunately not the newer one with the revised dash and steeringwheelpaddles.

I sat in it and had a look. The front splitter is ok, aswell as the diffusor.

The seats are good, what I missed are the small storage compartments next to the seats. And the seatrails where a bit aftermarket.

Leather is OK, didnt like the color though, maybe on a white one, but not on the race blue one.

It is a study of Skoda to see whether there is a market for these parts. The total of the parts would cost approx 14000 euros .

For that kind of money, you could easily shop somewhere else.

Not to keen on those seats either! :thumbdwn:

Maybe Skoda will have the research bods plodding around on this site.

I believe a pole is in order!

I quite like that, even if it's a little tacky. Also appears to be an auto?

be nice if those seats become available to upgrade the standard vRS' :)

The epitomy of bad taste I daresay.

yeah it all looks a little tacky, although you could almost forgive it, if they had put in the engine from a Leon Cupra/Golf edition 30

pretty awful.....imo :pants:

I really like that front lower spoiler and I would buy that tomorrow if in matt black!

Black wheels don't work IMHO.

Seats would look so much better and classy if black leather (and it's easier to get chocolate off them).

yea deffinatly in black, although I like them I dont think i could actually part money for them in red

WHY OH WHY?

I dont mind it but stilkl wouldnt buy one!

Thoes are the same seats as in the RS4 V8. I want some! why cant they do them for the mk1????????

them seats in black leather and the first 2 pannels onthe back in the same white material as the mk1 vRS same on the bottom were ur *** goes lol

bit like this only pritend the seats are black lol

Edited by claytarget_god

Yeah they look like the same seats as the new VW Scirrocco GT. My mates got one, and it's tasty!

They hold you like.... something that holds you really well.... eeeeeeeerm...... king kong holding a zoologist.

I would have preferred a proper modification, seeing as it's a 'concept'. Aluminium flared wings, and a slightly wider track would have been enough. Like the Ford Racing Puma (Ally front wings, steel rear, but both flared over standard).

4-pot callipers would be nice also on a special edition.

What about a vRS'R', a lightweight hardened version. A limited run to celebrate Suzuki and Subaru leaving WRC!!

Waheyyyyy
