  • I imagine this would be a nice car to buy second hand, hate to think of the depreciation from new...

  • Wont fit, the engine bay is just about big enough for the V®6, This engine is relatively small and not much wider than a in line 4. What would work, is a biturbo conversion of HGP (for example). HGP

That looks really good in white!

Does it have lowered suspension?

I'll bet a penny to a pound we never see another V6 Superb 4x4 in white!!!

Love the look of it though!

Not normally a fan of white cars, but that looks great.

More pictures please :)

Well I saw that someone wrote that here earlier:P But I couldnt reply then because i didnt have an account.

White really grows on you. Some years a go a really hated white, but now I love it:D

I also have a Porsche as in white. I find it kind funny to be unique. :)

It´s Winter in Sweden now but I will put up some more pictures here later this week.. When the spring arrives I have a set of totally black 19 inch RS6 replicas that will go on the car. I think it will look kind of cool with those black rims and blacked out windows  Right now its winter tires on the car..

Maybe a bit "Pimped" but what a heck you only lives once :P

Lovely looking car Puppan, and white would be my choice for a 3.6V6 too :D

I used to have a white Saab 9000 Carlsson, and I thought that looked great too.

Take some cool photos of your white v6 as it'll make a cool background, or better yet if you fancy a little drive out to England I'd be happy to make you some coffee.

Hi Puppan

Now you have had your 3.6 for a while and I guess you have burned a lot of petrol with it. Can you share your experiences, tips and tricks with us, please?

Puppan - I've been daydreaming about a white 3.6 4x4 Superb so I just thought I'd check out the Superb II forum for the first time - LOVE THAT CAR!

Review at some time please!

Well I´ve used for about 7000Km at the moment and I just love it!! :-)

For me it´s not the brand that is the most important thing, its most value for the money I prefer! :-)

For fun I built a equal Audi A6 with the same equipment and the 3,2FSI Quattro drivetrain it ended up at 63000Euro my Superb 3,6 4x4 DSG with everything stopped at 32000Euro!! Most of the car seems to hold almost the same quality as the Audi !! Of course some details for example the sunshields are made in a bit less exclusive materials etc but the function is clearly there! And we have too remeber that the audi is actually smaller in Size.. I must say that the Superb 3,6 4x4 impresses me every day and I think it´s way above everything Skoda produced earlier!

The only thing I dont love is the consumption ... I´m about 11,2L/100km since I bought the car..

If there had been a Superb stationwagon with 170Hp Tdi 4x4 and DSG from Skoda on sale, then I had choosed it. But it seems like we have to wait for a version like that! :-/

Here is a couple of bad pictures with my new blacked out 19inch rims mounted! :-)

Looks very nice. I think white really suits the car.

As for your fuel economy, I make 11.2L/100km roughly 25mpg, which isn't that bad really. My wife used to have a 2.5 V6 Rover 75, and that never returned better than 20mpg, ever.

Hope you enjoy the car. I know I would.

My experiences after 10 days / 1800 km.

I like the two faces of the car - a silent, relaxed and rather luxurious car most of the time and a very powerful car when "needed". I'll compare it to my former car - a Volvo V70 170hp manual.

Engine noise: lower (better) in the Superb even the though the Volvo was very silent.

Road noise: the Superb is more silent on good and medium road. The Volvo is more silent on rough roads.

Wind noise: about the same - no wind noise until 130-140 km/h.

Seat quality: good in the Superb but a little better (softer and longer) in the Volvo. The electrical seats in the Superb are really nice as you can easily adjust the position on long trips while driving.

Grip: much better in the Superb. The Volvo often slipped during acceleration. The Superb doesn't slip even when accelerating so fast that the Volvo wouldn't even dream about it. The Volvo was a little nervous in curves - the Superb is rock solid.

Suspension: the Superb is a little harder than the Volvo - the price for the much better grip. I don't think the Superb is too hard whereas the Volvo sometimes were too soft.

Plastic quality: slightly better in the Volvo in some areas.

Dashboard quality and style: better in the Superb.

Overall interior quality: good in the Volvo but better in the Superb.

Leather quality: better in the Superb (not factory mounted due to Danish taxes).

Back seat comfort: better in the Superb.

Middle back seat comfort: better in the Volvo.

Headlight: the Volvo doesn't get even close to the Superb's Xenon - it's fantastic.

Sound system: good in the Volvo but better in the Superb. None has very deep bass.

Fuel economy: bad in the Volvo but worse in the Superb (I knew that). Range too short with 60 liters capacity (I knew that too).

Joy of driving: good in the Volvo but better in the Superb.

Power: I love the 3.6 - never short of power.

Exterior look: the Superb is much better in reality than on pictures. Not as good looking as my old V70 but better looking than the new V70.

SWMBO: prefers the Superb due to the DSG, slightly smaller steering wheel and electrical seats.

No problems so far, no rattles - just fun and joy.

In fact, is much more easier to maneouver the Superb than my previous Volvo S60, despite the fact that the Volvo was 30 cm shorter

my guess would be the s60's huge turning circle due to it having very little steering lock, you can hear the tyres scrape the arch liner on full lock

Air ride!

Did my first long run yesterday, 160 miles with most at motorway speeds (not over 70 officer  ) with 10 miles of town driving each end. I was delighted that the trip showed 30.4 mpg.

[thread resurrection] ;)

Five years on.....any feedback on the 3.6 owners on this thread? (oh, and a photo of my recently purchased white 3.6 Embrach Estate for those who mentioned that they liked white 3.6 cars) :)
