I think i can safely also say my car is still in one piece... just ;)

Will be interesting to see what effect milage has on the power... im RR'ing at awesome this weekend..

Our fleets currently

March 2003 Octy L&K bought new now 115,000 miles

Octy 4x4 , bought ex demo March 2003 with 600 miles on it, now 71,000 miles

Superb bought last may, now 26000 miles.

200,000+ miles since 2003

Not a Fabia but an octy in Dundee now got 486k and mint

A taxi I believe, but never failed and never off the road from new except for standard services, done whilst he waits

The dealer wanted to buy it, (possibly for advertising purposes IMHO) But he's not selling I suppose not enough offered,

I mean book price and offer would be nil, but for quality advertising and the car itself worth a replaement new vehicle??? yes

Thats what I would do, I mean I had read up a lot and decided on a Skoda with a little trepidition, I visited the Dealer to buy, and the sales guy said take a look at this, but the guy will not sell, I was Gobsmaked, and it was the final convincing if any I needed, White Octy no marks 486k, as I said it is an OCTY not Fabi but wow

Running a Y reg Elegance.. 16v 100bhp. 54,000..

Engines fine but it's seems to have reached that first phase of "Oo, oo, oo.. I need a new one of these, and that.. and a couple of them.. Ooooo.. and I'd really like a new one of those"

About to hit a grand in parts & Labour since Christmas..

Truth though? It's never stoped running.. never even been in limp mode.. (did loose the PAS for a week though).

Rob.

First mile put on in October 2005.

:)

mines just hit 80700 now!!!

Nearing 70k on mine now, will be interesting to see if I get to it before I go abroad though

92k..

Slowing down now because i dont need it for work.

Incedently the MPG has started to go wayward too.. my average over a tank now struggles to get over 40mpg, when usually it was around the 46 mark.. and on a motorway journey back home last week my mpg was 28

2001 TDi estate - 76000 now, will be just over 80k by end of August as taking it on hols to SE Germany end of July!

Thinking about it.. its highly likely that the car might hit the big 100k some point during the Brisky Prauge trip.. thats going to add on 2500miles at least!.. depends what i get up to in the next month, as ill be on holiday most of aug

So.. Postmanpat.. my co-driver... 100k fabia.... do ya feel lucky.... well do ya??;)

Man, some of those figures are crazy. Mine's an October 04 54 reg and it's on 16,800 miles!

04 Plate Fabia vRS - bought with 15,000 on the clock.

The wife drives it through the week on a minimum 100 mile a day commute. I use it at least 2 - 4/5 times a month for London/South Coast and back so thats at least 30K a year. (3 services a year).

What I would like to know is, this is our car not a company car so obviously we pay all the costs and suffer the depreciation associated with high mileage. Is anyone else in the same boat or is everyone driving company/lease cars?

I intend to run this car way past 100k which on current mileage is only 3 years. If its still going strong then we will have lost so much value we may as well run it into the ground.

BTW: My car is a 98 Mazda 323 V6 with well over 130K on it. Sold to buy the Fabia was a 53 plate Volvo S40 with 100k. My works van (Ford Transit 2.5 TD) has over 130K on it too (and I do London in that regulary).

79k for me yesterday :D

I was testing a 98' Sharan TDI with 414,000 miles on it yesterday !

- just keep your oil changes regular and there's no reason why the Fabia can't do a similar milage ?

79k for me yesterday :D

I rekon you will catch me by xmas

I would have thought owner/drivers were relatively over-represented with Skodas. There are certainly a large number of public sector workers (without company cars) in the Skoda population which turns up to meets e.g. I'm on 62K miles in just under 3 years, and intend to keep the car for a couple of years yet.

Just hit 105K on my 02 plate TDI

All the taxis round here are Oct's and the taxi drivers rave about them and they all have 150+ on them.

I don't think mine would be able to get over 50k the rate it's going (it needs to get out of the garage first)

I must be going through the everything needs replacing stage but at 40k that seems terrible.

I would hate to think what starts to go at higher mileage.

I rekon you will catch me by xmas

80,424 & counting :D

Fabia vRS purchased new September 2006, be at 31k by tomorrow. Those services come round rather too quick but there you go!
