I got my vRS after buying an Elegance, then finding Briskoda.. and growing to absolutely NEED a vRS (or Lupo GTi, but that was very short lived)... I knew they existed and were good cars.. but being on here doesn't half wave them under ya nose ;)

Just wonderd if this forum had that effect on many other people as I've seen a few sig's from lower powerd Fabia owners announcing there vRS intensions ;)

Rob.

I wouldn't have Briskoda'd if I didn't have a vRS. So the other way around for me!

Bought a vRS because it seemed a better drive then the Polo TDi sport i test drove!

It was either the VW badge i love . . . Or the extra horses! No contest really. ;)

I would have brought a VRS without Briskoda but when I finally did buy one last week I was much better prepared and knew what to look for :-)

I've put the poll up now, wit ha "I had one before" option :)

Same here yegnold, i bought the car from a friend who loved it and wanted a newer one with less mileage, he bought mine originally becuase of the great reviews and "that" topgear video. I love it and he still loves his newer one, finding it hard to move on!, cant seem to justify the cost to change.

Same here, I joined to get info on the car I'd just bought!

I thought I bought my vRS before I joined up, but from my join date it appears not... who knows why I bought a vRS... but I'm not complaining

I joined long before i bought a vRS. But Briskoda wasn't the reason i bought one.

I knew that I wanted a Vrs before joining, but joined for buying advise.

Simon

bought my vRS 1st, looked about for owners clubs etc Thats how i found good olde Brisky :thumbp: :D

Ditto but glad I found the site.

joined after buying my mpi. but a vrs now seems as though it'll end up being my next car, which i think will mainly be down to this forum

I researched the vRS for a while, lurked on Brisk, then joined and bought one.

Skoda should thank Briskoda for at least one sale, lol

I only got to know about the fabia vrs when my mum went to p/x her mk1 octy vrs for her mk2. I ended up buying one then looked for a owners club..........this is what i found:thumbup:

My mother bought a Fabia (1.9 TDI) and I occasionally read Briskoda. One of the reasons why I bought a vRS was because of her. I don't think this forum convinced me to by one. Once I got mine, I read this forum increasingly more for about 2 years and then decided to join. I now read this forum at least once a day (and post), so you could add, are you addicted to Briskoda?

I wanted a octy originally as i liked the look of it and then found out that i was actually a good car, i now however want a Fabia vRS as i don't want to drive round in a taxi. Also being 22 it will cost me less than £400 to insure when i do get around to buying it (although i'll probably be 23 by then) and very glad i found Briskoda as i have already spent an extra grand before i have bought the car on the upgrading that i'll also do when i get my black vRS.

I had 2 Fabia vRS's before i ever found out about Brisky

I found Briskoda becuase I was thinking about buying a vRS, but would have bought it anyway.

I found Briskoda whilst looking for advice on the net about the vRS then I bought one.

Need to fix my leaking water bottle now :-(

bought the car before i knew about Briskoda

Had my Fabia for 2 years before joining Briskoda.... work at a dealership :)

Briskoda however compliments the owning of such a fine car... last weekend at C C being a casing point.

Rob

I was looking at buying a VRS already, but joined first and then bought one

I didn't have a vRS when I joined, I never have had a vRS and I never plan to get a vRS, so all options are N/A for me. I have found over time that not having a vRS doesn't necessarily mean low power. ;)

I picked option one as it was the closest but not totally spot on. I joined Brisky before i got my vRS but i had already decided to get one when i joined.

Cheers

Dave.
