Checked the Turbo Outlet this morning and that is all fine so can rule that out

you should show her whose the boss and not just go K04 but instead do an S3 engine conversion, stage 2+ that and enjoy 360-400bhp. you know it makes sense

I know of another vRS that went stage 2+ and had running problems after it that couldn't be solved. The owner went to get it customed mapped by someone else and cured the problem, maybe some ECU's don't like stage2+? I'm sure boost pressures were logged and came out alright? Also hope your cam follower is alright.

how far are you from AMDessex carl.Do they do a free trial on their remap. why dont you trial out their software.

I think REVO do a re flash if your ecu gets wiped provided you have the receipt.

what about the guys at votex in congleton carl , theyre revo agents and very good , i've been there before .

I've just been out in the car since swapping over a few bits and the car seems a bit more willing but the timings are no different :mad:

Seems to be a bit of timing pull now aswell on the cylinders so gonna knock the timing back a bit more and see what happens.

Will go to Votex if Keith has no other suggestions :(

It started off on 8 7 7 showing no timing pull. Did logs on way home and was showing timing pull

So Keith said to try 8 6 8 (fuel was a bit rich too)

That's what it's on now but some of the cylinders are showing as much as -6 timing pull.

Gonna try 8 5 8 tomorrow after ive spoken to Keith.

Also gonna give Votex in Congleton a ring see if they can help.

I'm gonna try and go early if possible.

I'm off to bed now as i've been up since 6am spent about £75 in fuel doing data runs and i've run out of ideas :mad:

and revo will probably say "Nothing wrong with the software".

Be very careful where you take it Carl. ;)

It is only my humble opinion of course but if anyone has the knowledge on the TFSI to get to the bottom of it then it is Keith.

I have emailed REVO and sent them the LOGS.

Im not doubting the Software i just sent them it to see if they had any ideas what could be causing the issue

Firstly just like to say a Big thanks to Pete for coming over and helping me today. Top service from a fellow Briskodian :thumbup:

Well today i did the following

Removed PCV, Cleaned Checked Re-Checked no faults

Removed EVOMS, Cleaned Checked Re-Checked no faults

Removed DV, Swapped for a Spare, Cleaned Checked, Re-Checked. No faults

Removed Fuel Pump Cleaned Checked Re-Checked no faults

Removed Cam Follower Cleaned Checked Re-Checked no faults

Removed Neuspeed Turbo Outlet, Cleaned Checked Re-Checked no faults

Removed Hoses from both sides of Intercooler, Cleaned Checked Re-Checked no faults

Removed DV relocation put on Neuspeed Hi-Flow intercooler pipe, No faults

Checked Hose from Neuspeed Intercooler pipe to Throttle body and found a Small V in the lip (well Pete did). Now I'm clutching at straws here but i've ordered a new one and am going to replace it to see if that is the prob. It also swells like a balloon when revving car at standstill. Don't know if this is normal or not. If anyone wants to check for me who has either Stage 2 or Stage 2+ i'd be grateful :)

End result

No difference at all :(:(:(

I'm right out of ideas now and have checked the whole system thoroughly 3 TIMES now. If the pipe i replace tomorrow doesn't cure it then i don't know what else can be done.

Getting beyond a joke now. :(:(:(:(:(

i actually think i'm dry now .

no idea if its not that pipe , would really help if we knew if the top rubber pipe leading into the intake swells significantly .

if not then ko4 and we all go to the pub after the ceremony

nice to help an aquaintance tho eh?

Im well known for my Patience. But this has been 2 solid days now and everything i have done hasn't made a blind bit of difference.

I even emailed REVO and all they said (even though they looked at the same logs Keith has) was it was a definate boost leak. Keith is still sure it isn't

As i said if this Rubber Pipe doesn't cure it im all out of ideas :(:(:(
