  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

Love the wheel choice [emoji41]

Are those alloys normal silver? They look almost chrome in some of the pictures!

Thanx man yeh i love the rims they are called boavista alloys from the new VW polo R line .

Yeh there is a slight, what they call a high silver finish.

Ah thought they looked familiar from somewhere! Have seen them on a Polo :)

Would love coilovers to go lower but its a daily driver and i don't know if it would be practical but it would look good IMO.

Looks good now. Don't ruin it :)

Fair nuff i like comments that help me make my mind up. cheers

Cleaned it again, with AG shampoo and conditioner, as the birds seamed to have attacked it yesterday as when I got to it after work I'd counted 64 bits of bird crap on the drivers side:

Birds don't like red. Tend to panic and erm.... release. I'd always get droppings on my red vRS, whereas get none on black cars I've had, parked in exactly the same places.

Damn, I hate it when that happens! ;)

Fitted the grill that is supposed to protect the aircon rad from stone chip damage and 2 cover caps on the wiper arm nuts. For whatever reason mine were missing.

Tech1e installed this for me yesterday :)

Taking out was easy, putting the new one in was the most difficult part but didn't take too long overall.

Stripped the poop silver interior trim out ready to be flocked.

Had a good drive round the Yorkshire Dales today. Barnard Castle to Reeth, then Hawes via the Buttertubs Pass, then back home via Leyburn and Catterick.
