  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Yup, will leave em there until I can find the time to take the bumper off as there aint enough room to get at them... had Zee at it for over an hour  :bandit:

Finished a 750 mile trip and (provisionally) sold it.

When is the Yeti due? Car in the interim?

When is the Yeti due? Car in the interim?

The Yeti is due to be built in a couple of weeks, this will become the family car and replace the TT

My Superb is going to be replaced by an Edition 100 MKI Superb which will be used to get to work on a Monday (then left in the yard all week) and home again on the Friday, I am currently doing around 50 miles a week in it, so it seems daft to have two high specced cars in the household if one will not get much use.

Bought a set of Audi A3 'default' alloys for the Fabia's winter wheels off a very nice person on ebay. :)

Today:

The new towbar arrived (being fitted on 9th May)

The false boot-floor arrived and has been fitted

The new grille and tailgate badges arrived, along with the new centre caps for the wheels. Looking to fit these at the weekend (weather permitting)

And ordered two Richbrook tax-disc holders (one for each Octavia) and a www.briskoda.net sticker

But most importantly ordered a new Briskoda roundel for the back of the Scout.

Still to fit:

Rear DVR camera

RVC

Bee-sting aerial (the original has been bent somehow)

DAB aerial

Front wind deflectors

And ordered two Richbrook tax-disc holders (one for each Octavia) and a www.briskoda.net sticker

Personally I'd cancel that order s you'll only ever put 1 tax disk in them:

Not sure - I might use mine for holding something else after they disappear :)

Think the windscreen will look pretty empty without one, after all these years....

Managed to find a spare wheel significantly cheaper than the dealer priced one, but bit the bullet and bought the tool kit insert for it from the dealer in total £115, wheel is new with continental tyre fitted.

Also good for permits and other things needing to be stuck to the windscreen. :) :)

We'll be updating our site "staff car" permits so they'll fit into the tax-disc holders too as quite a few staff have interesing holders and don't want them to fall into disuse.

Insured it. Best part of £200 cheaper than last year... Get in!

Cleaned it and put another coat of AG HD wax on:

:( where were you? I had a look for you.

I was late due to the above, wandered around a bit to get some good vantage points for some photos (will edit the reg plates and post em later) then the heavens opened so decided to split at that point.... Did look for you also, and a few others but couldn't see anyone's name badge :P

I took the 3yr old smelly air filter out, and popped a nice new sparkly one in!

Quickes:

New logo centre caps

LED boot lights and rear interior light

Hoovered it because it was rotten :P

I use auto glym shampoo conditioner and it's very good, can praise it enough.
