  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Got the car ready for the drive down to Glastonbury Festival tomorrow, as I'll be working there all weekend. (Vented fuel fill, check oil, coolant, top up screenwash, pack the mud escape kit, put some extra air in the tyres, zero the trip miles and make a note of the odo in my business miles notebook)

My car seems to have produced more oil, rather than used any.  :notme:

fuelled it up ready for the trip to goodwood tomorrow

Had it 4 wheel hunter aligned, no issues found :)

Filled it with £70 worth of SUL, checked the washers/wipers and farted in it!  :giggle:

Passed 1000 miles :D

Did those MIles wave back & what were 1000 Miles doing together.  ;)

Who knows; they wouldn't tell me. The swines!

Had air con regassed as it wasn't working properly.

Had two new tyres fitted to the rear wheels of my octy vrs

Great minds think alike -- air con working great now!

Also hard wired a 12 to 5 volt dropper for USB for the dash cam, and installed a separate USB charger on dashboard.

Mike

I'm wondering whether I need to do this for my camera or not. I wired in a cigarette charger, but hard wired it in and it works fine.

Let the wife take mine to her work for MOT, 2 tyres and pads all round ££££

Spot the difference...

Both cars cleaned.

new wiper blades and 2 new tyres

Fitted the rear Blackvue camera

Replaced the front foglight bulbs with 4,300K halogen ones so they now match the xenon’s

(yes I know they will be less effective in the fog, but lets be honest how often are the front fog lights NEEDED? ... yet the cornering lights are used all the time the lights are on.)

She had her first ever MOT and a interim service today and pleased to say it passed with flying colours.

Got the Dunlop put on the front. The difference in road noise over the Savas is fantastic.

It's ditch finding time! (Assuming the Savas are the back now)

Started driving towards Exmouth to pick some bits up but got as far as Stonehenge before deciding the weather was too bad to continue and turning back.

Took the chainsaw out of the boot and made some trees go bye bye.
